  1. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES of the beach area! Pretty please! I am so freaking busy at work and will never be able to get down there before the wedding.

I already asked that question. This is what it says on the website about the honeymoon package... "This package is complimentary when booking a Honeymoon Suite category or higher for a minimum of 7 nights or if 5 rooms are reserved for a minimum of 3 nights at any room category."

Flower Girl Basket Pomander Kissing Ball - Pastel Mauve - eBay (item 290216974207 end time Jul-21-08 15:04:23 PDT) I am thinking about ordering my flowers from her. She will work with whatever you want. OMG! THOSE WOULD BE PERFECT!
  5. I was told they would be half the cost of an adult under the age of 12.

  8. I AM FREAKING OU ABOUT AIRLINE PRICES!!! Everyone keeps asking me if they should buy now or wait. I am using airline miles so I have no worries but I cannot tell my guests that!!!!

This is the reason we are getting married there.

I think it was so pricey because hydrangeas are pretty pricey in Mexico.
  11. Hey I got some props for her too!!! I somehow got kicked off the forum because all my points was accidently deleted out of my account because of some computer glitch and she kindly donated some points to me!! Doesn't quite compare to your story but just wanted to add to the thread! Jen
  12. Dreams RM is definitely not open yet. We decided on Cancun only because it is a lil more family oriented with my big A** family! Lot of kids and teenagers. Plus it is small so easy to navigate around pre wedding!!

I submitted my request form but havent heard back on which of my 3 date choices were open. I did recieve an email saying thanks for choosing Dreams w a price sheet (same as the internet). Going by all of the posts, I'm sure it will be awhile before i know for sure. Trust me this thread gets enough hits it will always be somewhere in the top few threads..LOL!! Also, be patient. They will get back to you asap. The are super duper busy during this time of the year. to the forum!!!!

How does 8 months sound? Is that far enough in advance? Well depends on what time of year you are planning. May 09 weekends were booked up as far back as February 08. If you are planning a weekday wedding well your chances are much better.
  15. This is the lady's email address that Claudia sent to me for the lounge set up... Her name is Gabi Lavor... [email protected]

  17. Yea!!! I am soo excoted for you!! Sounds like everything went great with a few unexpected curve balls but it is to be expected!

Whooa..its not Dreams that does not take the cards it is just my bank that does not allow my check card to be used over seas. You may have to call your bank to verify. All banks have different rules so just give them a call...

Since I haven't been able to get any photos of the cakes, I don't know if they just decorate them with flowers? This is what I know... I do have pictures of the cakes Dreams resort provides. I will be happy to post them again if you need them. In the event you do not like the cakes you can always decide what you want on your cake, if you want different flowers then you pay for flowers, if you want a cake topper, then buy a cake topper. If you are looking for ideas, go to theknot.com or google to find examples so you can email them to the WC. They are very accommodating but you certainly have to do your research to make you wedding uniquely yours. Also, there are is soo much info on this forum. Just search what you are looking for and the threads will pop up. Also, I HIGHLY reccommend reading completely through this thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t2782 I know it is quite long but there is soooo much info. When I joined I did just that and so many of my questions were answered. If you have any specific questions you cannot find answers to then please PM me. I have been in communication with Claudia for sometime and have revised my contract about 6 times already and I still have 11 months to go. Lastly, there is a thread that is awesome about what not to forget. I am going to find it and post once I do. What I did was start a spreadsheet and I am listing items on there as I think about them. Misc Stuff that you just don't think of at the last minute for example extra scissor or glue just to name a couple. CAKES INCLUDED IN WEDDING PACKAGES.doc
