I just wan to let you all know that I spoke to the Dreams Resort Reservationist and she said they will be releasing $$ for the 2009 bookings either this week or next week. MY travel agent has sent me some numbers but I think they are able to access it earlier than the public reservation sites. I would just like to have some way of checking to make sure she is getting me a good deal.

Trip advisor is based on opinions and it gives those who LOVE to complain a place to do so. I think it should be read with an open mind. Just remember that things that bother some may not bother others. I saw a lot of complaints about the pool being too small or the lack of chairs available during the day..WELL DAHHH! This should be realized before you book if you do a little research. If that's all I have to worry about then sign me up!!

know this law seems a bit extreme but it really has some great reason behind it... I have visited both Jamaica and Mexico. I will NEVER return to Jamaica and one of the reasons was they do not protect their natural coral reefs. The coral reefs actually have a lot to do with the ecological systems and the survival of certain species of fish. In Jamaica they would actually dive down during our snorkeling tour and BREAK off a piece of the coral. It just seemed so unnatural to me. I do not get the whole collecting shells on the beach. Maybe they are trying to rejuvenate the large amount of beaches that were washed away from the hurricane?? Just my 2 cents

I was wondering because it is so windy on the beach (from what past brides have said) is anyone still considering using some sort of candle in their centerpiece or is this even feasible?? Any input would be great. Thanks!
