  1. I just voted again, but it looks like he's in third place. Everyone vote again!!
  2. He certainly is a little cutie, he so sweet. Congrats on becoming an auntie.
  3. It looks beautiful on you, it looked lovely before the alteration, now it just looks stunning.
  4. ethrondson, the post wasn't too long at all, I know exactly how you feel, my sentiments entirely. My first two weren't planned and as I always say, they were the best 'mistakes' i've ever made. My third was planned and she's absolutely gorgeous too.
  5. Maura, it looks like you had a wonderful time, the pics were lovely.
  6. I'm so glad everything worked out for you, your daughter is a credit to you.
  7. I can understand your parents being upset. When I was in labour with my first, DH mother came to see us about 2.30am, after having been out for the evening so was slightly worse for wear. She did ask if she could be there for the birth, but I told DH, no, so he told her he thought it was best to go home, which she did. But once my daughter was born the later on in the day, everyone came in to see us, my family, his family and they all had to take turns in holding her. She wasn't the first on either side, but everyone wants to see a newborn baby and hold them, everyone is excited. I was acutually glad to see everyone, tired but very happy and glad. I hope it does get easier for your parents and your sil becomes more reasonable, because the first grandchild is very special.
  8. I think my situation is slightly different to most as my bridal party are my children, whom haven't given me any grief, are as excited as I am and because they are my children, they do as they are told so I have not had any issues. I'm not sure if I would have had a bridal party though if I didn't have my children.
  9. Here's mine (the same as a couple others) April 10 Independent and dominant, you tend to be the alpha dog in most situations. You're very confident, and hardly anything ever shakes you. Mundane tasks tend to drain you - you prefer to be making great plans. You are quite original. When people don't "get" you, it bothers you a lot. Your strength: Your ability to gain respect Your weakness: Caring too much what others think Your power color: Orange-red Your power symbol: Letter X Your power month: October
  10. Let them do it, you'll probably find it will be a lot better than you are expecting. Once you actually get there, you won't notice the little things, just the love that's surrounding you from your parents. It will work out okay.

  13. Congatulations, that's wonderful news. The t-shirts are goreous.
  14. Soooo sorry, thats awful, especially taking things like cards that cannot be replaced. Do you know where it was broken into, perhaps you can scour the area to see if they have dumped the birthday cards, just a thought.
  15. Great review. I can't wait to go, only 1 month and 1 week. Congratulations
