I know this has been talked about extensively in the Mexico forums, but does anyone know what the customs procedures are when you fly into Jamaica? We're bringing a lot of stuff for OOT bags, decorations, etc, and don't know what to expect. Should we pack everything together and label it "for a wedding"? Should we divide it up among our bags? In Mexico, you push a little button that turns red or green, determining if you get searched. Anyone know what happens when you fly into Montego Bay?

You'll definitely have to let us all know how it goes and what you think of her work... I think there are quite a few of us looking for a good photog in the area to do this - and the deal you got sounds great! Are you getting a book done? If so, any idea on what it's going to cost?

We're also using TheBigDay (and Patti - lol). We're booking our week after the wedding through them, so no fees. We put it on our website, and so far the response has been good. Granted, no one has bought us anything yet, but they all seem to think its a cool idea!

I'm planning on getting b-pics and a pair of really nice cufflinks for Sam. If I don't do the b-pics, I'll get him a watch. He wants this crazy expensive one, but I guess I wanted a crazy expensive e-ring - lol!

I checked all the rates and the only thing reasonable is USPS - but I have no idea if your stuff will make it to Jamaica... I think we're just going to bring everything and take our chances. What's the airport like when you actually fly in? Our resort said to just go through the "nothing to declare" line and your good. I've never flown into Jamaica... is it like Mexico with the green and red button to determine who gets searched?

Galit - your dress is phenomenal!!! I love love love the back of it! I know you had fallen in love with a super expensive dress at Kleinfeld's, but this one is amazing. Your dress needs to make you happy, and $4000 in the bank would certainly make me happy - lol. I'm sorry that your sister wasn't as excited about it as you were, but you look beautiful in it!

Way high!!! My dress is having some serious alterations including putting a corset in where there is a zipper, all length alterations, bustle, etc, and it is $225. I would definitely get a second opinion!

The road to our location is supposed REALLY bad, so I was thinking of getting a shirt that said, "I survived the road to Little Bay!" with either our logo or the cute palm tree pic they have. I was just trying to see if we'd be able to get enough by the wedding...

Has anyone ordered the t-shirts from vistaprint? If you order the free ones, do they continue to send you free offers for them? Did you like the quality?

For the Negril gals... I just recieved word from our resort (which is 10 miles south-east of Negril) that they got less damage than in '04 from Ivan. They said there was a lot of landscape cleanup, but that the buildings were intact and no one was hurt! Trista - I'm so happy to hear that everything is working out for you!!! That's such terrific news!
