To all brides to be, We just returned from our magical wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We used Kristin and Michelle from The Dazzling Details, and it more than we could ever imagined. Their name holds truth, in that all the details were.. "Dazzling". Everything was amazing.. then we got out "professional picture" dun, dun, dun.... They are such a dissappointment!!!!!!!!! We advise anyone who is considering Paulina Ulloa to find someone else. My husband and I aren't big "posers", but the whole time we had our pictures... the translator would said.. "do whatever you want".. and "act natural". WTF?? We were not told once how to stand, nor did she give us any direction. I paid for a professional because I thought that is what they do.. pose us "professionally". Our group pictures are juat aweful, our ceremony pictures "amaturish", and our dinner/reception.. well let's just say we are using friends and families' pictures to put in our wedding album. Before you drop a grand on pictures.. I would look elsewhere. I would absolutely recommend the dazzling details, but invest in someone other than Paulina for your "professional" photographs.

1) We love to travel 2) We live in CA, while the rest of our family lives all over the U.S. including: New Mexico, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Lousiana, Las Vegas, Arizona, Missouri, Texas.. need I say more.

I think personalizing makes it that much better. The girls on here think I am crazy b/c I am having a bride Marge and Groom Homer Simpson on my cake, but you know what.. marriage is all about compromise, and since he really doesn't have a say in anything else (chuckle) he can have his simpson cake topper!

I almost bought those exact bags.. I am so jealous, they are sooooooooooo... cute. Your guests are going to be so excited!!

Girls, I have been so busy lately, that I have distanced myself from the forum for some time. However, I got my laptop fixed, and I am back on. Now it's reaching midnight and I am having a hard time shutting down the computer. I love this forum. I have learned so much, and look forward to the support and advice up 'til my wedding day. This has been a huge help for my planning, and creation of my wedding. I just wanted to give a shout out to BDW, and say thanks for creating such great place for all the destination brides to get together, and help each other out!! Alright, I was a college athlete, but have had 2 knee surgeries (one was a year ago). I am having a hard time getting back to the gym. I don't have any health issues.. just lazy issues. I work a day job, and I am also a server at night. I need some advice, and some motivation. I have 3 months to go, and I want to lose about 15lbs. I have been eating healthy, but I need to work out to tighten and tone. Should I start getting up, and going to the gym at 5am, or should I go after work at aroun 930pm. Help me. I want to look hot in my bikini!!

I think #3. The BM's are going to hold those flowers for the ceremony, and then who knows what they'll do with them after that... Go for the parasols.

I would have them do a reading. I am not doing anything. My FI's parents are saying a blessing and welcoming speech at the reception, but other than that we are not involving my parents..

We sent out std's early in the planning, but we haven't heard for certain who is going to go, so we are sending invites to pretty much everyone that received the std's. Even if they choose not to go, I think people like to get the invite. I don't know the ettiquette.. My advice is do what you want to. Ettiquette and tradition is pretty much thrown to the wind in a destination wedding anyway. I think you will be safe either way.

my dad is wearing a linen shirt, just like the groom and groomsman, but in a different color. For pants, he is wearing the same linen pants that all the guys in the wedding are wedding.

We are having one. My FI's bro and wife were saying how they feel liked the day went by so fast, so I figure if we miss anything I am sure the video will pick it up. I found my through my wedding planner.. I have a package that includes 2 camera men so there are different angles. Plus, we have a photographer. Heck.. I think we'll feel like movie stars, lol. Why not? After this it's all about the kids

Girl, if you want to kick your butt into shape, than cycling is the way to go. It is intense, but it is usually on 45 minutes, and you can rest when needed. I think any group class is great motivation. Grab those biker shorts, and think "hot bikini bod", "hot bride", "sweat those poinds off"!!
