Even though I can´t take an ounce of credit for the fabulous local and beautiful couple my inner show-off was none the less doing cartwheels when Jaime invited me to share a few ¨teaser¨ images from the wedding with the BDW gang! Thank you, Jaime, what an honor! Awwwwww, thanks Elizabeth! Everyone in our group loved you, and they love these teaser pics SO much (of course!)! You and Lindsey were great to work with. You are both so sweet. I can't believe how hard I cried that day!! Will be interesting to see if those pics turned out... LOL As soon as I went out to tell my BMs bye and that I loved them, I totally lost it!! And then I had to go to the "first glance/sighting"... I was crying the whole way down, and I passed Lindsey and I was like "tell me a joke! Quick! I can't stop crying!!" She said y'all love crying brides though ~ which actually did make me laugh, lol. It was SO GREAT to FINALLY meet you!!!!! Can't wait to see the rest!!! Quote: The rings were flown into the ceremony by a parrot!!! These are showing up so small on here, but if you click on the image you can see the full sized version. Isn't that cool?? I loved that! But, we all thought the parrot was supposed to fly in over the ocean for some reason - so I think Elizabeth's camera was pointed in that direction - she's good though! Had to be sharp to catch that one! LOL you guys, I'm sorry - I have totally been a BDW slacker!!! Between doctor stuff, Lyme disease in general, AND planning our AHR (which is THIS Saturday!) I've just been totally MIA. Just keep on me LOL Thanks everyone for your nice comments! Elizabeth is amazing! I researched photogs right from the very start (back in '07 - I was on the forum before I was even engaged, lol). Eventually I just KNEW that we HAD to have Elizabeth. I love her use of color and style. Looking forward to the slideshow!!! YEAHHHH!!!!!!
  3. Ahhh, k - I was wondering where those were coming from. And I'm with Abby - will they stay with 2 or 3 attached (for example if someone has reached "Elite" will they always have "Senior" and "Member" attached too?). Just curious, it seems to make my mind work too hard... LOL
  4. You look incredible! Love the one of the ceremony setup - beautiful!!!
  5. That's great! My hotel did nada for us ~ NA-DA! lol Seriously, the Marriott PV just does not care. We did not have the ceremony there but we brought in 25 guests and they knew we were getting married. Nothing back in our room on the wedding night... never anything... We got married at Las Caletas though and they did everything perfectly, including a cold bottle of champagne waiting for me and my girls the day of! Loved that I will say our HM hotel did a cool thing for us! We stayed at The Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios, JA and they sent us a tray which included 1) a letter of congratulations from the Manager (looked hand signed) with a $50 gift cert to the spa (which we put to use on a couples massage lesson!) 2) Ice cold champagne in a bucket of ice 3) yummy little dessert plate and separate fruit/cheese plate. Was very, very sweet of them! After our previous experience, we felt so touched at this token of their acknowledgment of our wedding/honeymoon.
  6. i'm soooo glad you wrote this post btw, needed a fire lit under my butt! lol Anyways, I just called my bridal shop and they can get it cleaned for me by a week from Saturday! Yay! It's going to be extra ($200) but they can do it! Phew!!!
  7. Hmmm... Bibbentucker's here in Dallas, TX gave us an estimated turn around time of 3 days! BUT that's for $250!!! I've got to call LuLu's today (the bridal shop where I got my dress) because they only quoted me $165 or something like that... I have my AHR a week from Sat. and am kind of freaking out on the turn around time! If it comes down to it I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay the extra money to have that 3 day turn around service! Doh!
  8. i've only watched half of it (I know - BAD JAIME! i'm soooo freaking busy!!) but how cool!!! I didn't realize you were getting a video too!!! Woohoo! Can't wait for the WEDDING video!!! I soooo wish we had someone video taping our jump into the pool!
  9. wow... amazing... i had to stop while reading it because it was so intense... I'm so happy for you! You've got a great attitude - take that with you into your new marriage and 2nd love!

It was perfect for our group and yes - very inexpensive!! Plus he will bring you out freezing little white towels if it's hot (came in really handy!). Either inside or outside would be fun, but we preferred the privacy and it was a little cooler in there, tho I'm not sure they have A/C at all... Thanks again chica! 12. Thanks girls! It's a great day already!! This is a goofy pic but you get the point... Martin brought me breakfast in bed with a Happy Birthday serenade... with candles in the bagels - haha, love it! So far I've found out we're going to EatZi's to grab food and champagne for a picnic in the park for lunch! Funnnnn

  16. Thanks ladies! Yesterday I was bawled over in pain (from the Lyme disease) but today feel a little better in that sense so yay! Think we're going to dinner tonight at The Iron Cactus in downtown ~ my real bday celebration will be Saturday up on our roof deck... a Jamaican bbq! Yah mon!! We brought home lots of jerk sauce ~ gonna grill up chicken, shrimp and veggies... plus Rum Punch, Red Stripe & Reggae music. I'm gonna run around Dallas and see what all is free on your bday - HAH!!!!
  17. Joelle - check out "Victor's" in the Marina for your welcome dinner! We requested the inside room and had it all to ourselves ~ it was amazing! $15 per person for choice of fajitas (beef, chicken, shrimp), guacamole appetizer and 1 beer all included! Victor is the cutest old man, and comes out and takes shots with you! Buy a beer... get a shot for free! The tequila is weak (thank goodness! lol) but still... pretty funny! My Grandma and MIL both had shots! woohoo!!! LOL And Martin's Dad paid for 5 songs from the Mariachi band so we all got to dance to live music for about 25 bucks! Everyone loved it! GREAT place for a casual Welcome Dinner
  18. Happy birthdayyyyyyy, fellow Gemini!!!!
  19. The scripted apology was absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for, IMHO. I'm glad you shared your experience in a thoughtful manner.
  20. LOL - totally. I say use her to the fullest! (don't mean that in a cruel way, but definitely make her stand up to her part of the bargain!) ... and don't forget to put her on "Janitor Duty"
