It looks so cool up close and personal. (Very sexy ) The artist did a great job. Hmmmm...but I wonder how Jay feels about us.....lol. I love my lovey so much and not just because he declares his love and happiness on his upper left arm.

I am so glad Jay came up with this idea! It will be soooo much fun. OMG! If enough of us got together and we decided on NYC, maybe we could do a luncheon or sunset dinner cruise around NY harbor out of the seaport. It would give us the opportunity to mingle and talk and see some sights at the same time. I did that for my Senior Week booze cruise in college. I'm kind of talking out of my ass because I don't know if something like this would be feasible or affordable. Worth checking into. Oh and we could go to a club later on forthise staying over or up for a late night. I'm so excited!!!!

I think it was a Chuck Norris movie if I remember correctly. Sat on the balcony and smoked a lot of cigarettes, drank a little tequila, and tried my best to go to sleep. It was really nice having the time to myself to get excited for the morning. It probably would have been difficult though if we had an afternoon or evening ceremony. To add to what my hubby was saying, I also loved having a little solitude before the wedding. The night before, we had dinner at the lovely french restaurant at Dreams. He then walked me to the room. We exchanged wedding presents on the balcony. Soon after we said good night and kissed. The feeling I had reminded me of how I felt after I would say good night to Jay at my door when we first started dating...all dreamy and wistful. I spent the rest of the night meditating and praying I wouldn't be a wreck to next day. -

There has been quite a few posts on this subject so I don't want to go into too much detail as there is a lot of info on BDW about this already. Jay and I were legally married in Mexico. Since we eloped to Mexico, it didn't make too much sense to get married here in the states too. It really wasn't too much of a hassle and cost us about $250. I was divorced too so I had to get extra paperwork that most of you won't need. Getting my name changed on everything wasn't too bad. All in all it was worth it to us because of our marriage certificate (en Espanol) is the ultimate keepsake of our beautiful Mexican Wedding. BE ASSURED THAT IF YOU ARE LEGALLY MARRIED IN MEXICO YOU ARE LEGALLY MARRIED IN THE US. City hall gave us mixed messages too regarding the legality issue. I believe I found clarification on the US Dept. of State website.

Dreams Tulum!
Karen replied to schelleq's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
Hi! Congrats and Welcome! My husband Jason (lambert13) and I got married at Dreams Tulum and had a wonderful experiance. We had a private wedding just the two of us and stayed in an ocean view jr. suite which was beautiful. This was a complimentary upgrade from a standard room. The service is wonderful. Our room was beautiful and luxurious. Reallly beyond my expectations for the money we spent. I feel that Dreams really does give you a lot of value for your money. Be prepared for slow communication from Sandra and Landy, her asst. via e-mail. But be assured that Sandra was so accomodating and bent over backwards for us. Feel free to PM Jason or me for more info. There are a lot of Dreams brides on here who had full on wedding parties so you have many resources available. Be sure to check out the reviews! Happy planning! -
