BTW - I never clean my brushes....I will so be doing this when I get home. As for the cortizone shots - stay far away from them. That's all I need is for you to get one and flip out and I'm the one that told you to do it...lol.

I use to get these all the time. I went to a derm for "zit shots". It's basically an injection they do directly into the zit. I'm not sure what it was though...something to shrink it - cortizone maybe. They were like $20 per shot and totally worth it. The zit was usually completely gone within a day. His name is Dr. Cook and he's at Medical Center Dallas.

I agree cash is probably best, but we've given stationary before and it was greatly apprecated. Like cool little notebooks and things like that. Hotel staff uses things like that in their daily work.

Oh Shae - you poor thing. I'm sure that was very scary! I know nothing about it, so I'm no help. At least you've been able to see your little one several times. That's exciting! That's funny Martha! I cry at the stupidest things too!!

We found out at 17 weeks. Shae - where have you been lately? Have you been feeling good?

I know she probably meant well and had a great idea - it just didn't land on the paper that good - at all!! I don't really have an opinion whether to send them out or not. My aunt gave me my shower and sent out the worst invites EVER. There were grammer issues, spacing issues and just crappy issues in general. I didn't know what they looked like until I got to the shower and my mom brought me hers for me to keep. No one ever said anything to me about how ugly they were. It's not a reflection on you.

I thought about you girls when I saw this today. myself included.... I hope everyone is feeling good today. I had my 27 week appointment yesterday. I gained 8 lbs in 3 weeks. Yep - that's right! I'm officially at 22 lbs for 27 weeks. Not so happy about that, but whatever. I'm learning to deal with it. Everything else was great. I go back in 3 weeks and he said we could "talk about" another sono. yah!

I would have loved to have a water drinking partner, Karma! But like I told the other girls, not being able to drink really doesn't bother me anymore. But once Luke gets here - you better watch out!!!

Thanks Martha and Lizz! I can't wait to see your 29 week bump Martha. Lizz - I'm glad your appt. went well. I think the 2nd one was the one that James went too - and he was bored out of his mind....lol...he hasn't been back. Of course he would go if I ask him. Maybe towards the end when we start talking about the delivery and things like that. I did find something to wear. I went to Target and got a black Mossimo dress - not a maternity one though. And I only paid $17.99 for it!! OMG!! I just realized I only have 3 squares to go on my siggy!!!

I know I'm late on this, as it's almost time for my 28 week bump. But, I just wanted to post since I forgot This was 24 weeks.

Aaaww Jaime - look at you with pics already up. I only took 2 (same ones you already posted) - - apparently I left WAY too early. Damn being pregnant!! I miss all the fun!! It was SO good to finally meet you girls. I had such a great time gossiping and getting to know you. And Jaime, you are too sweet!! Thanks for the compliments. Rach (:-) - I mean Rachelle and Jaime are just adorable. The minute Jaime walked in the door I was like, oh Jaime and gave her a big hug. I would have recognized her anywhere. And the same with Rachelle.....just adorable ladies. It was so good to meet your men too. Martin is such a cutie and was such a good sport taking pics for us (1..2..7!). Too funny!! And Rachelle - David was so handsome! o.k., I can't believe I missed all the fun I wish I was not fat and pregnant. I would have joined you guys in a heartbeat. I made it home and was asleep in like 5 minutes.

Are we still on for tomorrow? I do not have a computer at home right now and am leaving work in an hour or so. 7pm tomorrow at Mattito's??

This should probably be in another thread, but I didn't want to start a new one. I just found out that a guy that I grew up with was hit and killed by a car last night. I knew his family really well and it's just so sad. I know this is shallow of me, but I'm fat and now thinking what the heck am I going to wear to the funeral. Argh! I have no nice clothes at all. Only jeans and capris and don't want to go out and buy a maternity dress for the funeral, only to wear it once. What the heck should I do?

Mo - I'm glad you're feeling a little better and able to enjoy your vacation - oh and eat some yummy food. That's the best part of being pregnant!

I think it's a great idea, but agree with the others, as it is so personal. I know persoanally I have to try on a million suits before I find the perfect one. Maybe you girls can get together and go shopping for your own suits and you can just tell them that it's your gift to them for the trip. It could be a fun girls day!

I've never had an experience with Cigna. I'm with BCBS. Kinda stinks that we're out so much $$ when other insurance companies pay so much for L&D. Oh well. Sorry I'm no help. And yes - we need a updated belly shot. Have I posted my latest 24 week bump? I'll have to go back and check the thread.
