  1. That sucks Martha!! I would print out all the atricles and take them with me to the doc next week. Demand he test you again. Tell him you are not trying to question him, but you are not comfortable with the early test after ready everything and tell him about Karma's friend.
  2. Thanks girls!! Does it mean anything when you drop? I guess I can look it up. Martha - I would ask the RN at your class. She would probably know - won't hurt. And I would just ask your doc again next week. This is YOUR baby - not his!! You want to make sure your baby is safe during delivery. You can definitely word it so it's not offensive.
  3. I'm so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
  4. Happy Legal Day Yari & Brian!! I hope you guys have fun!!
  5. I think that's a great moto! I use to eat so much better. Being pregnant, I feel like it's a go ahead to eat whatever I wouldn't have eatten before. I can't wait until it's over so I start thinking about what I eat before I do it.
  6. Martha - just feel lucky you are not having BH - they aren't fun and I've heard everyone does not get them. The birth classes are fun for us too. We take our last one next week. I feel so much better about everything now and so does James. o.k., girls - my pants were not fitting very well yesterday. The waist band was not staying up and kept rolling down more than normal so I decided to take another pic (which i'm going to do every week now) and I'm pretty sure I've dropped AND I've grown SO much in the last week - holy crap!!
  7. Argh...Martha...that sucks about your appt.!! I sometimes feel hurried too, but I always start talking slow and say something like, I know there was something else I needed to ask you.....then he will stop and wait to see what it was. That's gives me the time to make him sit down so I can actually talk to him. It usually always works. And also, write ALL your questions down and tell the nurse you have questions for the doc - not her. I agree with Karma on this one. I'm having my Strep B test done next week. I will be 34 weeks. Now I'm all worried that it's too early. Karma - I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It sucks that you take care of yourself for the entire 10 months just for your doc to F-up and do something too early and cause issues with your child. I'm telling my doc next week about your friend and ask him if we can put it off another week. I've been feeling fine. I'm getting all the aches and pains though and I hate it. My back hurts all day and towards the end of the day I get a lot of pressure in my vajayjay. I don't like that at all. I was having a contraction last night and was kinda moaning and doing my breathing and James was like, "what are you doing.....stop being a baby..." uuummmm hello.....are you going to tell me that when I'm tryng to have your son?? he was just kidding and laughed and said no, but still! I was trying to get through the pain and he had his silly little comment. This is why I told him he had to be a "good adult coach" if he was going to be the only one in the room....argh!

Well I guess it's good for Mike since he wanted to know and you didn't. Do you really think he will keep it a secret?
  9. Sounds like you're having a great day so far. And I'm impressed with the Tiffany gifts!! Great job!! How did the sono go??

I have been having those every once in a while but that wasn't it yesterday. I'm pretty sure I just need to go #2 I swear if I'm not taking MiraLax every single day, I do not go. It sucks! And I didn't take it this weekend....so I'm sure that's it.
  11. I know - I still can't believe it either. Lizz - Sonos are so much fun!! I'm so excited for you guys. That's funny that Mike is all pissy cause you don't want to find out He'll get over it....haha!! And wow - what a fun b-day gift!
  12. I totally understand where you are coming from. I would not feel bad about not wanting your step-father to do the father/daughter dance. I would just tell your mom exactly what you just told us - - that she was your mother and father and you really thought it would be special if you and her had the dance. Maybe just call it a mother/daughter dance instead of father/daughter. I'm sure your step-father would be fine with it, since he knows she was the one that has been there for you.
  13. That stinks. I always look forward to my appts. Mine is tomorrow also. Looks like we have 5 of us in the next month and a half!!! Angela - Sarah - Martha - Karma - me!! We are all so close together, I wonder who will go first?? I can't believe we are going to have 5 new babies so soon. Crazy!! Martha- I've been getting alot of people saying I look so big too. It's fine every once in a while, but now strangers are commenting. I know they mean well, but I'm so tired of hearing it. I can't wait to see Noah's room!! I bet it's going to look soooo cute! I've been having cramps all morning in my entire stomach. Like menstral cramps but in my entire stomach. I wonder if it's constipation?? Oh the joys of pregnancy!!
  14. Happy Birthday Jac!! Hope you have a great day girl!!
  15. Thanks Martha!! And you do not look like a whale - you're pregnant!! You girls should definitely be taking pics for later. Mo & Lizz - I am loving the bedding. Nothing cuter that baby bedding. I just love it all. Karma - My bro lives right across the street from that hospital. Maybe I'll tell him to come over and visit Miss Hannah. haha...jk!!
  16. Aaaww thanks Lizz! You start to not feel so cute the bigger you get. I'm going to have to do more research on diaper bags if you found one for $50. That's great! The laminated ones at $60. I was thinking of this one.
  17. Thanks Karma!! Is Centennial at Lebanon & 121? And as far as diaper bags. I have only received a small monogrammed one at a shower. It's not going to be my main one. I'm leaning towards one of these laminated ones though. LD Embroidery - Laminated Buckle Diaper Bags
  18. Karma - I'm delivering at Baylor Dallas. Where are you delivering? Here's my 32 week belly - - whew it's HUGE!!
  19. Aaaww Jaime - how cute is your dad. And I love that article. I didn't know the gallery was named after you. Too cool!! resulting in the sort of culture shock your lazy ass needs. So peel off those sweatpants. Your bum will thank you. That's my fav part of the article....too funny!
  20. Karma - that's great that your doctor will induce early. That must make you feel sooo much better since you can kinda plan for it. Unless of course Hannah has her own plan You never know! I had my 32 week appt. yesterday. I gained 2lbs - up 26lbs total. Blood pressure was 120/80 - - heartbeat was 156bpm. He said my sono from last week looked great and that Luke was going to be close to 9lbs. I go back in 2 weeks and they will do the swab test thing. We also had our 2nd childbirth class. It was SO good and answered so many of my questions I had and also made my "birth plan" list alot smaller. The hospital's standard rules are: -no continuous monitoring - just every 30 minutes....perfect! -no iv with fluids until needed by the cap thing they put in your hand when you get there...perfect and exactly what I wanted. -no students...only residents -the baby will go straight to your chest when delivered. they wipe them down and you bond for a few minutes until he goes to the warmer with dad. they do all the measurements and fun stuff them they bring him back to you to breastfeed. THEN you go to your room and dad goes with the nurse to give the first bath and foot prints. they don't give a bath until like hour 7 after their born. -all suites are private! -one nurse per room. so, me and Luke will have the same nurse so there is no confusion. I might be missing something, but I was so relieved after the class last night and I'm feeling so much better about everything. Plus, the beds are too freakin cool. you can adjust it a sitting/squatting position. It was crazy!
  21. I'm with Karma, Tracy. A faint line is a line!! Congrats!! That is so exciting!!! I would definitely go out a buy a digital though, just to be sure. I'm sure everything will be great at the wedding. You will only be like 3 months, so maybe you will be the lucky one and not be showing yet
  22. OMG I'm such a loser. I'm so ready for: Grey's Private Practice Criminal Minds Prison Break - already started - yah! ER!!!! All the CSI's Law and Order SVU Friday Night Lights!! Biggest Loser Good thing I'm pregnant and can justify laying on the couch and "resting"...lol!
