OMG those are freakin hilarious! Good for them for making it fun!!

At least you know Karma, so they can give you meds at delivery. I didn't know you had to stay longer if you were positive though. Photogs in the area are pretty pricey. I was going to be a min. of $1400 for his first year photos. It would have been spread out over the year, but it was $700 upfront. It is just crazy!!

As for me, I had another appointment yesterday. Everything is good. I put on 5 lbs. in the past month, which sounds like a lot to me, but my doctor said I'm right on track so I'm not going to worry about it. The baby's heartbeat is around 145. The only thing that is annoying me is that my nose is constantly bloody. Did anyone else have this? My doctor said it's because my mucous membranes are affected by pregnancy, so it's not unusual, just annoying. Mike hasn't been too bad torturing me with the knowing the sex of the baby. But he's not coming with me to register for fear that he'll give it away by his choices. I really am trying to get everything done before he gets here. I still need to get a place in the kitchen ready for all the bottles and things like that. I still have some time though. 5 lbs in 1 month is great Lizz! I never got nose bleeds, but I'm a q-tip freak and I always swish a q-tip around my nostils in the mornings after my shower to make sure there's nothing that might want to hang out later. I did notice some blood on that every once in awhile, but nothing too bad. I have heard it's common in pregnancy though, that's why I didn't think much of it when I saw it. I keep forgetting he knows the sex!! I can't believe he's doing such a great job keeping it a secret.

Hey girls!! I had the greatest 3 day weekend ever!! Now it's back to work - boo!! I've been feeling really good. The occasional backache that's been around for a few weeks now - nothing I can't handle. A little vajayjay pain, but nothing too bad. All in all, things are going well. A little nesting kicked in yesterday and I organzed the rest of Luke's room, bought some big plastic bins and put away some clothes people have given me for him and some maternity clothes, packed most of my big suitcase and my labor bag. I have a few more things for my labor bag then I'll be able to put at least the suitcase away in my trunk for the big day. I know it's a little early, but hey, I had the energy for it so there you go! We also bot a new camera yesterday which is totally cool!!! It's a Nikon D90 with a HD video on it. James and I compromised....I wanted to hire a photog for Luke's 1st year and it was going to be about $1400 min., and he was so not going for it. So we decided to spend that much on a camera and printer so HE could take all the pics. He took some photog classes in college and use to be soooo into it. So I think it will also be a great hobby for him to get into again. He spent ALL day playing with it yesterday while I nested Amy - How exciting that Austin is sleeping in his own crib. I'm sure it was so hard the first night but it sounds like he did a great job and an even better one the next night, Way to go!! Martha - I'm soooo sorry to hear about your booby pain. I can't even imagine what that feels like. Oh and I HATE BRAS!!!! With a passion!!!! I have yet to find a comfy one and the sports bras make me look like a have a uni-boob. Arhg!! Karma - The backaches really do suck!! Hang in there girl - - you're almost done. I keep a heat pad on our couch and lay on it almost every night. It helps so much!! Mo - That's great news that you have been feeling better. I agree one or two bad days are so much easier to deal with, than having to deal with every single day being bad.

I can not believe it's already been a year! Congrats guys and I hope you have a great day!!

I know this sounds stupid to "tell", but maybe you can tell your WC/management that there will be someone at the resort that is absolutley NOT allowed around the wedding party and that could possibly cause problems the day of, and to keep an eye out for her. You could get management to remove her from the area if she tries to cause any problems for you. Just a thought...

Holy crap! Who does that?? That sucks!!

He's definitely head down and has not said anything about a c/s.

I have no idea. First he said that he was breech, and I was like...what??...He wasn't at my sono, then he said, oh that was just a hand....no clue if he was joking but it sure didn't sound like it.

I know Karma!! They say sex doesn't hurt the baby and not to worry about it. All I keep picturing is Luke grabbing ahold....rofl!!! I go back in 2 weeks, then every week after that. We did our last child birth class last night. She had a pedi in there and she answered so many of our questions and told us what questions to ask when trying to decide which one to go with. I guess I should start that mission now.

Martha - Noah is way comfy in there.... I just got back from my appt. It all went well. I gained 4 pounds, heartbeat was 156, bloob pressure 120/76. He also did the GSB test today. He said they like to do it between 33-35 weeks - whatever, it was just a week early. They said they don't like to chance me going into labor early and not knowing. He also said my cervix was still closed and he felt a little hand when he was in there. o.k., so that's a little freaky girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He felt his hand with his fingers. WTF!?!? What happens when we have sex. A peepee is bigger than a finger!!

We brought one and every time we stopped somewhere I would pull out the chair and rest. It made so much of a difference! Thanks for the tip I hope it's not too hot next week. We are going after work on Thursday, so we will only be there for like 3-4 hours. The chair is a good idea!

Argh....don't you love people with their opinions....not!! I'm not sure why when you are pregnant people think it automatically gives them the right to comment on your size. We are all different. I always just shrug my sholders and say, "everyone's different" and just don't let it bother me now. Seriously, we all gain it different and in different areas. I've seen your pics and you look great and don't let what they say get your down

The color really wasn't an issue for me. For some reason I had the color in my head. James came up with all the other ideas...

Karma- I'm sorry you're having BH. Mine has slowed down alot. I don't even remember the last one I had, now that I think about it. I'm still having vajayjay presure when I walk. That sucks! We are suppose to go the the Fair next week and it's alot of walking, then I'm doing the Komen Race for the Cure on the 18th. That's 3.1 miles. I sure hope I don't have the pressure on those days. I go to the doc for my 34 week in 2 1/2 hours. I'll let you know how everything goes.

That is on my boy name wish list if I can convince FI to go for it. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, and hopefully you will share pics of the little one enjoying his new room! YOu're so sweet. We really do love JCP!! Their prices are great and if you get a credit card you get 15% off of everything. All that we've bot, we've gotten 15% off of. We just ordered our glider from there this past weekend. Funny enough.....James is the one that loved the name Luke Quote: Originally Posted by LC_Rachel Ohhh it's so cute Lisa. Well we tried not to go overboard with the painting. That's why we only put strips on the wall and a few stars. I'm sure once he gets old enough to know better he will want something really cool on the walls Quote: Originally Posted by CourtneyV That room is freakin' awesome!! Come on, who doesn't want to get away from toasty warm Texas for a little vacay to hell-frozen-over Calgary, AB?!! Court - you are cracking me up!!! We may be sending James to Calgary to do the painting. I have to give him ALL the credit. He really came through for me!! Of course I'll come so we can hang out though!! I'm sure I'd mess something like that up so fast! lol! Great job!!! Thanks Rachelle!!! James painted the strips. A guy at Home Depot told him how to do it and told him the supplies to get. It was very time consuming but pretty easy. If you decide to do strips, I'll let you know the secret!

My fingers are crossed that you go a little early making and freezing meals is a great idea. i thought about it, but will have my mom, his mom and my bff that lives down the street all telling me that they will come over and cook, clean and do laundry for me. so, i'm not too sure i want to cook a bunch of food that might go to waste... Not sure if we'll put pics on it though.

Great Julie!! o.k., I would totally be ok with the nesting not kicking in if I deliver 15 days early!!! I'm so ready for him to be OUT!
-
Thanks girls!! I'm just so glad it's all done. I'm seriously waiting for my nesting to kick in so I can do some cleaning and rearranging of his clothes and stuff, but nothing yet! Hopefully I'll get motivated soon.

Cessyboston planning thread....
LisaG replied to cessyboston's topic in Destination Wedding Planning Journal
Wow Erica - everything looks awesome!! Your guest are going to love everything. -
So, we finally finshed the room with the exception of the glider that will be here in about 3 weeks. It's going by the junk pile of clothes by the closet. I also need to do a little more organizing in the closet and drawers. But for the most part, we are done with the room itself. I'm so happy with it and can't wait for Luke to be here to see it!!

Aaaww how fun! That's so cool that he did so much planning... so sweet!
-
Aaaawww Martha - don't stress girl!! Everything will be ok, I promise. Believe me, we are all hormonal and everything is just that much more stressful right now. Believe me, once little Noah arrives, you will feel totally different. If we stressed about everything in life there is to stress about when it comes to kids, we would be a complete mess all the time. Don't let it get to you.
