I had my family shower on Saturday. It was my last one. All my showers were so much fun. I haven't posted any pics yet, but I will in the next few days. We got some great stuff, but still need to buy all of our big items and tons of small things. I will need to make a list of things I still really need and use my gift cards. Thank goodness for gift cards. I did my first load of laundry last night - baby towels and wash rags. Too cute!! We have like 8 towels and like 20 wash rags. Do you think that's enough? I am also so confused as to where I'm going to store and organize all these things.... Martha - How did your shower go?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bakers. I have one dangerously close to me. That's where I got my plain silver flip flops for my wedding. I also sent all my girls there to get the same ones. Love them!!

I like Jada Marie. That's a very pretty name. I hear ya on every name you want or like, you know someone with that name, that has not so good memories.

I like the pink one, but also think you could take another one and change clothes.

The dress I bought today isn't maternity, but it's so comfy and cute. That's great that you found a dress Martha! It just sucks looking for things that fit these days. Luckily I have 2 huge bags full of hand me downs, so every once in a while I will look through them if I get bored with what I'm wearing and I find something decent to add to the mix. Of course there are NO cute dresses in the clothes (of course!) That's great that you're not leaking and Noah is still up high. You really don't want to deliver too early. I've been having alot of discharge too. It's gross! Sometimes I wish I bring extra panties to work because it's just so much some days....I know...tmi...rofl!! We had our first child birth class last night. We just went over some things in the book adn anatomy. Kinda informative, but not so fun. Next week we will do a tour and see delivery rooms, etc. She also let us out 45 minutes early....uuummm hello...I paid $85 for this class and I want to get my $$ out of it. I was a little disappointed - but oh well.

You know I just found out that Gap carries maternity clothes. I've been having luck at Target too. I'm trying not to buy anything else, but I will most likely need some long sleeve shirts...

Karma - I think a scheduled induction is a great idea under the circumstances. I'm sure it is completely stressful not knowing when you will go into labor, having to deal with the kids and a business you can't leave alone. I'm sure your doctor will understand. Martha - I'm SO glad you guys didn't get bad weather. Wow - I can't believe you didn't even get rain. Crazy! We got a ton ton ton of rain and lots of wind. All was well here - just a long storm. I went to Motherhood to get a dress for my shower and they had a ton of things on the clearance rack. I got a cute dress for like $30. Did you hit the clearance racks? I had my sono yesterday. He's still a boy He was too cute, sticking his tonge out at us. She couldn't really get a get shot, but here's a couple. She said he is 3lbs 15ozs and is measuring around 32 weeks....his head is measuring 33w1d. Great, huh! She said all looks great and he had the cutest little lips. i think he has my nose but James said I couldn't tell. I say yes I could cause I'm the mom! His eyes are up in that triangle thing so you can't see them, then you can see his little nose and lips and chin and his fists are up by his head.

Me too! We having been talking to some people that live right on the coast and have had to evacuate. It's just so scary.

I just scheduled my last sono for Monday at 4:45. Yah! We are pretty darn sure it's a boy - just what we saw on the last sono - so I'm not too concered. But, there's always that what if feeling. They do say that 1st time moms have plenty of time once their contractions start. I'm sure I'll be fine. Lizz - I don't think I felt Luke until like 20 something weeks....you still have some time. I was just on the phone with a customer and Luke kicked the crap out of me then stretched for like a full minute. It took my breathe away so I had to tell my customer to hold please because I had a kid acting up inside of me....rofl....he started laughing.

H O L Y F R E A K I N C R A P!!!! Are you kidding me?? I would be PISSED!! What a terrible dad to want his son to cheat on his soon to be wife. What an ass! I would definitely say something to his mom. I would just being it up in conversation and be like, can you believe that crap!

Oh this hurricane sucks! Martha - I'm glad you are feeling ok right now. I'm sure your parents are glad you guys are there with them. I think the food, water and generator is a great idea. You can never be too prepared. Morgan - I'm so sorry to hear it's heading towards your family. Are you in contact with them? Have they had to evacuate? Funny story....well not really funny but kinda. Our boss lives in Houston and is in our Dallas office Mon-Thur. Well, he is at home right now (in Houston) TAPEING up his windows. Uuummm hello....tape? Seriously? What is he thinking? They're saying Houston may only get like 80mph winds - which is definitely something your windows can handle - but tape? He cracks me up!!

Mo - ours was $85 for 6 - 2 1/2 hour classes. That sounds about right. Shea - Congrats on a girl and a great appt.!!! That's so scary that they hinted it might be a boy then bam - a girl. That's why I want another sono to confirm it is in fact a boy.

Martha - are you still feeling that bad to where you think you might go into labor soon? I had my 30 week appt yesterday. All was well. I gained 2lbs in 3 weeks - up 24lbs total. Luke weighs about 3lbs and he said will be around 8lbs. He asked if I wanted an epideral - I said yes. If I was going to breastfeed - yes. He also told me that if I had not had him by 11/19 that he would induce if I wanted him too since he would like for me to have him and be home before Thanksgiving. Yah! Oh and he said we could schedule another sono. I'm super excited about that!!

Wow Karma! Look at her. I still can't believe how real these 3D sonos look. It's so amazing! Are those her feet up above her head? Isn't it crazy the positions they babies get into!!

Mine is plain ol Lisa G. When i was little I would tell people to spell is Lesu. I know I'm a dork. And G is for my last name. Oh and RachelleE....I always thought it was Rach-el until I met her and thank god JaimeLynn told me I was pronoucing it wrong before she got there. It's Rach-elle. haha...I always called her Rach.
