  1. My step-brother married us & it meant so much to have him performing the ceremony in Mexico. I especially love our video and hearing him speak since it made the ceremony mean that much more - it was really heart-felt and special. We got 'officially' (legally) married in CA by my brother before we left (but we didn't tell anyone). My brother signed the marriage certificate because he is ordained but then he also got his deputy of marriage license in order to sign our certificate. He said we could dot an I or cross a final T on the license in Mexico after our destination ceremony so that we felt that it was really official in Mexico. Even though the legal part was done prior in the US, we still think our real wedding date is the day we got 'married' in Mexico. I think you should definitely have your brother perform your ceremony in Mexico, it will be really special. Jen
  2. I loved wearing my veil - I ended up taking it off after dinner for the dancing & party but it really made me feel like a bride when I had it on. Jen

We love your work! Tammy & I are trying to wait patiently. Jen
  4. CONGRATULATIONS!!! So happy everything was so wonderful! Can't wait to see your pics. Jen
  5. Juan - what a fantastic slideshow! I loved it!! You really brought out the happiness of the bride and groom - the wedding looked so fun! As always, I love your pictures! I'm so excited to see mine soon (I hope you aren't skipping me, I'm being very patient...) Wonderful work!! Jen
  6. We had the carrot cake from Jennifer Hatton and it was the best carrot cake ever!! She makes it with a tropical spin so it has pineapple in it and it is so moist and delicious! Next time I go to Cabo, I'm putting in a special order for a carrot cake from her... Angela - great choice!!!!!!!! We also got chocolate and I really loved the chocolate too! Jen
  7. We used him for our wedding, as did a few of our guests. He is GREAT!!! We got a suburban (for surfing). His rep met us at the airport and it was so easy! I HIGHLY recommend him. Our guests that didn't book thru him ended up paying more (with extra fees, insurance, etc) and it was a pain to pick up / drop off. Dominic's service is so great because they meet you at the airport and you leave the car there - no hassles or extra costs! We also lost the key (long story) and they came and brought us an extra key to Dreams right away. Jen

I would build that in to your schedule so your parents or friends know when to be ready and where to meet (your room usually). Also, if the boys are taking pictures, you probably want to include that too, so that they are ready on time. You are going to have so much fun! Congrats!! Jen
  9. Amazing!!! I love love love your pictures! Can't wait to see the professional ones! Jen
  10. We did a buffet for our rehearsal dinner (welcome dinner) with choices from the Mexican & Caribbean menus - it was DELICIOUS! (we got to have 4 desserts too). For our wedding, we did plated menu: We had "Tropical Martini shrimp cocktail served with brunoise of Avocado" for appetizer (really good!), the "salad with goat cheese", a double plate of "sea bass with portobello mushrooms and beurre blanc sauce" / "Pork tenderloin Tournedos served with green peppers Corn sauce" and skipped desert (just had wedding cake). Everyone commented how GREAT the food was!! ps - we were supposed to have "Portobello in a puff pastry shell with balsamic vinaigrette" for our guests that didn't eat shrimp, but I honestly don't know if this happened.
  11. Great review Sarah! So glad you had such a wonderful wedding! Your set up (with the turquoise chair ties & table cloths is exactly what I did) - I LOVE IT! We are also hoping to plan a one year anniversary party at Dreams...so much fun!!! I love reading other's reviews so I can re-live it! Congrats!!
  12. Such beautiful pics!!! Congrats Natalie! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Mariachi Internacional de Los Cabos - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico We also used Mariachi Los Cabos International and we LOVED them! I highly recommend them - they were fantastic! Jen

I used Jennifer Hatton and we absolutely LOVED our cake!!!! It was really delicious!! We had a big wedding so we had a tiered cake with 2 flavors - she was amazing! Let me know if you want to see pics or need any more info. I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer Hatton!

  20. Here it is... LISTA_DE_PRECIOS_2007.xls
  21. I arranged my tasting ahead of time as well. Mariana will need to know what you want to taste (you will choose things from the menu), so I think she will need some advance notice. You will LOVE it!!!!
  22. We used TransCabo - they were GREAT!!! I just gave my guests the info and had them book on their own so that I didn't have to worry about it. We grouped up people arriving at the same time. If you have enough people, you can get a great rate if you book a private van (~8-10 ppl). They were really reliable and everyone was very happy!
  23. Great review - Congratulations!!! I also used Jennifer Hatton and we still get comments on how great our cake was. I want to order another one the next time I go to Cabo - so yummy! I also loved DJ Ricardo too! I'm also waiting for my photos from Juan - he told me there are 3 people ahead of me (my wedding was 6/3), so hopefully you are NEXT!! Can't wait to see your pictures!! Jen
  24. Great review Kristin! Congratulations!!! So glad you had such a wonderful wedding! Jen
