Pnina Tornai Dress for Sale!
Elizabeth Medina replied to eblum999's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
Oh my goodness, having spent some time with this dress (and the very beautiful Erica who would have looked great in a potato sack!) I have to chime in and say it is one totally out of this world gorgeous dress and deserves to be worn again! -

My best friend is also getting married in Mexico in 2012 !! She inquired about a weekday in Sept. 2012....and she claims she's booked already !! I've also read a few posts and the common response is "I'm already booked for your date". Hi "Indy", Yes, I think "active" would be a good descriptive...I don't think there are too many out there whose cameras get more of a workout as many BDW brides can attest! Please let me know if you have not received a response by now to your latest email. I am sorry it took a while to hear back this time! We are not yet booking 2012 dates, we will begin to do that at some point in late 2010 or early 2011. Since we do limit the number of events we cover in a given month, and the dates do fill so rapidly, so the day of the week is often not a good indicator of availability. Just a general comment... We photographers can tend to receive quite a bit of email, in order to facilitate communication it is very helpful to fill in the requested contact information completely: full name, phone number, date and location of wedding. It is good to hear so many suggestions and comments on photographers, there are many options out there and I am sure there is an ideal photographer out there for each couple. One "tip" I would like to give to those searching in order to avoid any surprises. Ask to see complete real weddings start to finish, the actual groups of images just as the client received them ( and of course those images should be from the photographer who will be shooting your wedding from weddings where he was responsible as the principle photographer). The proof is in the pudding as they say! (what on earth does that mean though?)

Multicolour bridesmaids?
Elizabeth Medina replied to ~Angela~'s topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Great thread! I really think that the "multicolor" bridesmaid dress idea can work really well! I loved this color combination from one of my very special BDW bride's Mexico wedding. Here is another couple of photos, not only the color but the style is different for each girl...I love how the necklaces (which I think were BM gifts) contrast with the dresses and how they all wore different gold sandals. I loved this bride's less traditional idea, each girl had a callah lilly but chose her own dress. (you can see more photos from this wedding here. OK, I am on a mission now, here is another combination from another Mexico wedding. -
KatKen's AZUL Sensatori Review - 6/5/09

Jenna, I have PMed you, I think your email went astray somehow. Katherine, I loved photographing your beautiful, amazing, wedding! I hope you don't mind if I post the link to the thread with your slideshow from the wedding and TTD session. -
Hi Jenna, I have PMed you, I think your email must have gone astray, so please resend. You might also check your spam folder sometimes they can end up there for some reason. I usually respond to emails within a day or two, maybe a little longer if I am travelling. I do have a terrible time with SBCglobal email addresses...they have blocked any emails from my server and I cannot respond at all to those emails which is very frustrating! If you have that type of email address I would appreciate it if you resend from another account. thank you! Elizabeth

AAAWWWW.... Jaime, thank you so much for your nice comments about the photography! You and Martin are such a special couple, and it really was such a beautiful emotion filled day, it is incredible for Lindsey and I to know that the photographs will be a part of your story from now on! I am so glad to hear that you are feeling a little bit better! For anyone out there thinking of Las Caletas, it really is a fantastic location, very unique and intimate and something your guests would certainly never forget! Un abrazo! Elizabeth

Katherine!!!! thank you for sharing your photos! Even though I am a little embarrassed to be on BDW so much lately I have to admit though that I love seeing my brides here. Thank you for having such a beautiful wedding and for allowing me to photograph it! Here are a couple photos just because I can't help myself!

Hi Alex! I am glad that you posted your slideshow! You had so many great ides for your wedding! Thanks to al of you who posted such nice comments about the photos, it really was such a beautiful wedding! I totally agree with the post about the party being fun, it was such a great group and they seemed to be enjoying the beach reception to the max! I get so many emails asking for suggestions of locations (which is so hard since there are so many factors to consider, I definitely recommend checking with a destination wedding TA and wading through all the posts on BDW!). But I will say that are there are a few locations where you just see that everyone present is having an amazing time and the Royal in Playa del Carmen is certainly one of those. Alex, hope you don't mind if I add a few photos from the blog! Congratulations Alex! Elizabeth

Linda, Thank you so much for being such a wonderful bride to work with! Lauren and I really could not have been happier to be a part of your wedding to John, you are such a sweet, perfect couple! I think one of my favorite wedding moments ever has to be before the ceremony when you were RUNNING across your Casitas suite getting everything ready! So much excitement, so much joy and beauty, just the way weddings should be! I can't resist sharing a few images...there are more on Linda and John's wedding post on my blog.

Hola! Jaime was one of the very first people I met on the forum LONG AGO when she began planning her destination wedding. 2009 seemed so far away and it really seemed like her big day would never arrive! It was an absolute joy to document the wedding at Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta, so much LOVE! Even though I can´t take an ounce of credit for the fabulous local and beautiful couple my inner show-off was none the less doing cartwheels when Jaime invited me to share a few ¨teaser¨ images from the wedding with the BDW gang! Thank you, Jaime, what an honor! The rings were flown into the ceremony by a parrot!!! These are showing up so small on here, but if you click on the image you can see the full sized version.
