Some of the gazebos that come to mind are the one at the JW Marriott in Cancun, The Royal in Playa del Carmen, Bahia Principe, Dreams Cancun, and the Rui Palace in Playacar, also the Moon Palace and Aventura Spa Palace. Hi there! Congratulations to you all! I thought I would pop and in share a slideshow from a wonderful couple's wedding I shot at Sandos Playacar in October. The beach next to Sandos is just gorgeous, I think it looks like something out of a movie or something...so beautiful! The last part of the slideshow is the trash the dress session very early the next morning. Thank you Tina for letting me share your beautiful wedding with the future Sandos brides! Thank you Jessica! I just posted a new hacienda wedding to my blog, I loved starting off 2009 with such a fun wedding.

Thank you so much for looking and commenting! It was hard to choose from SO MANY 2008 images, so I set a two hour deadline and just kind of grabbed a sampling, but it was so much fun to relive a bit of such wonderful weddings, I really do photograph the most wonderful brides and grooms on the planet! Abbie, the music is from the Mexican group Reik, the songs are Estar en tu Mundo and Inolvidable...I must have listened to the songs a hundred times preparing the slideshow and have yet to get tired of them! My very best to all for 2009! Elizabeth

Happy New Year to all! 2008 was such an inspirational year for us, with absolutely wonderful weddings in different parts of Mexico. It was such a pleasure to make so many new friends and witness so much LOVE! We are excited about what 2009 has in store! It has been such a pleasure this year to be a part of this very positive and supportive community, we are grateful to have had the chance to share photographs here throughout the year, thanks so much to Tammy and the BDW membership. Hola! I thought I would pop in and share Maddy and Josh's slideshow from their wedding at the Grand Palladium in the Mayan Riviera, since I have not seen much here from that location. Maddy is a member here at BDW and she and Josh were just an all around fantastic fun couple to work with. It was pouring when I arrived for the getting ready photos...and it turned out to be a beautiful day, so for all of you getting married in the Maya Riviera, please don't panic if it rains on your wedding day! Casey, I hope I didn't confuse the issue...I just wanted to chime in with a few images of weddings I have shot at the Marriott to illustrate what a wonderful job Josefina (the wedding coordinator at the Marriott) and the whole Marriott staff do in organizing events. I am sure Josefina would be a beautiful bride though. :-) And yes! the water really is that blue, I love Cancun for that reason! Josefina, I was just now able to access your attachment, wow that is a very cool set up on the beach! Finally, here are a few images from my first wedding at the Marriott, and so beautiful. The ceremony was held in the gazebo and the reception in a ballroom, here area few details from the gazebo.

This beautiful wedding had a ketubah signing ceremony in the gazebo, the ceremony was held on the beach, cocktail hour by the pool and reception in the garden...so many options so each wedding is different!
