The rules are set by you guys, I just collect the data and pics! good way to justify it, exercise and ice cream , I love it! I guess it doesn't really matter with the pics and since I'm going to have to send you the scale pic (yikes!) I'll probably just send along the before pic too! Thanks again Ann for taking this on and helping all of us!

Good to know, I'll have to try them!

I know you mentioned you've never bought off of ebay before so those are two things I can think of off the top of my head to look for. Your best bet, like the other girls mentioned, might be to call around and also google to get some prices and see if they'll price match. If not, maybe you'll find another salon that carries it at a lower price. If you post the ebay listing here, I'll take a look at it for you, to see if there's any red flags about it. I don't know if you've already made a decision or not. -

If I pick the beach and it rains and I already book that DJ dude I am kinda screwed Hmmm any ideas? I'm not sure about Paula, but we didn't have any additional bar set up, we just used the bar in the lobby of the tower, maybe because we had a small group we didn't need it? Not sure, but really it wasn't necessary, most of the time the waiters were right there getting you drinks and if they weren't we just ran up to the bar to get something. Has any one else given a dead line for booking ? Jodey, when we first sent out the information we had a lot of people saying they were definetly going, wouldn't miss it, so I got nervous we were going to have about 50 people, but then you know people start to realize they don't have the money or a babysitter, or whatever and the list starts to go down. I'm such a planner and like to know right away how many of each item I need for sure, etc... so it really annoyed me waiting for people to book!! I did send out invitations with RSVP cards, I sent invites out in May for an October wedding, with RSVP deadline in July I think? Most people got back to us by then, but we did have a couple of late bookers. I liked the meal choices better on the gold menu, the other stuff I think was very similar.

I don't know for sure, but I think MP is pretty strict with their no outside vendors rule, but I think you can fly a photographer down and have them stay at the resort at a guest, it think that was okay, but I don't think the guest pass is. I would verify with MP though, because I'm just going off of my memory.

I'll have to try those 100 calorie cheeto packs. whatever you do, don't buy the small bag of baked cheetos thinking they're a good option. I did that one day and checked the points after I ate the whole bag and I think it was 5 points! They were good, but I never would have wasted 5 points on them!

I'm so excited to get started tomorrow!! I've actually kind of gotten sick of pigging out the last few days, lol! Yeah, ask me if I still feel the same by Friday, lol!! In honor of starting BL tomorrow I ate a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's last night, yup the whole thing! Oh, but it was frozen yogurt so only half bad! I need to take my fat shots, I think I need to go find a pic of a model in a magazine to hang on the fridge.

Dress Dilemna--Help

Your dress is beautiful! I would find out exactly what alterations are included. Is it just the hem & bustle, or other things as well. I bought a maggie and ended up paying 235 for alterations. I am really short and I couldn't order petite because I had limited time to get it and petite was going to take longer, and she needed to adjust a couple of areas, put cups in, etc... Because I had the corset back even if I lost some weight before after I was measured, it didn't really change how it fit very much. Is the dress on ebay the size you would order? One good thing about the bottom of your dress is that you don't have any beading, so that will make it a lot easier for hemming. -
Thank you for all of these ideas! I guess I should probably try to figure out which airlines we'd be most likely to fly. Bank of america has two choice Alaska airlines and US Airways. we flew us airways to mexico and they sucked! But bank of america is convenient where we live because they're all over the place. And I don't know if Alaska airlines would always be available for places we wanted to go. I'll have to check into continental and united and see if the banks associated with them have branches near us.

So I will track that, but then I will only post the % change from the prior week, correct? I won't be posting any actual weights. 3) And along with #2, I will track the change since the last week weight, as opposed to the starting weight? Or should I always go from teh starting weight? I think Biggest Loser does it from the prior week. But then at the end of the competition - it does the end weight vs. the begin weight - right? Just clarifying! I think you already got your answer, but we said we'd hold onto our pics until the end yes, I think if you could post the % change each week that would be good (if its not too much trouble) #3 I'm not sure about, but we should probably decide on which way, but yes, the end would go from the beginning weight vs. end weight Uggh, I've got to find some tighter fitting clothes for this picture! I have been pigging out all weekend, I'm actually kind of sick of eating crap and can't wait to start eating better again!

After teh first year just downgrade to brinze & never pay a fee. You will get 25,000 after spending $750 in 3 months. That's enough for a flight. I like my citi diamond card. There are probably deals right now to get $100 for signing up for one. No fees & I earn points that are equivalent to 5% on gas/groceries and 1% on all else. You can use the points to book trips through expedia so you aren't stuck with one airline. If I wanted to book a flight home it would take about 23,000 points. 23,000 could also get $230 in giftcards & the flight would cost me $230 if I booked it myself. I always use slickdeals.net to look up good credit card deals. I buy everything with my card & pay it off every month to just rack up cash back. It adds up fast when you get 5%. Thanks Morgan! I did see this one, but was trying to get away from credit cards. I use my debit card to much I thought that it would be a great way to earn miles, without racking up more debt, lol! I like the citi debit card, the only problem is there are no branches close to me so I'd have to do everything through direct deposit, which is fine most of the time, but sometimes I do have checks to deposit.

We moved to El Dorado Royale for our honeymoon, which is about 40 minutes from Dreams Cancun (I think) we booked it there, I think the trip was $65 each? It was only about a 10 minute ride from EDR, so from cancun it would probably be about 45-50 minutes. There might be somewhere that you can find it closer, I think if you go to the tour desk at dreams they should have information for you there.

I've gone from thinking "theres gonna be no one there with us to celebrate" to "oh my god it looks like we're gonna have alot more people than what we thought" and our budget just keeps rising, I wished I hadn't invited all the people we did now before I knew about the additional charges PP, does that sound really selfish ? Its just I really think we're gonna have to cut back on the extras that I really wanted to accomodate more guests, I know this may sound silly because our wedding is still so far away but when you have a figure in your mind and it keeps creeping up its quite scary,AAARRRR ! Jodey, your wedding will be beautiful no matter what, I would have loved to have had 20 more people come with us, I definetly would have had to cut some stuff out, but I would have rather have had everyone we loved with us! Here's my advice: Don't upgrade your cake. I did only because I wasn't using the photographer, so I needed a couple of things to make up for that credit, so I figured I'd box up the extra cake and people could take it to there rooms, but not many people did and believe me no one would miss it. Also, there is dessert included in your package, which in my opinion, was SOO much better than the cake. So, what I'm saying is just use the cake thats in the package, after we cut it we just left it there for people to eat if they wanted some and I think only one or two people ate a piece. Gazebo decor, you really don't need it, if you're looking for an area to save a little, don't bother, and as far as the chair bows, I didn't want to pay extra for them, but she ended up putting some on, they weren't the exact color I would have chosen, but they were free and looked nice. I have a feeling that in order for the white chair covers to stay on the chairs with the wind, that they actually need to use chair bows, so you may just get them for free. If not, the white covers really look fine. Also, I think I mentioned this in my review, don't pay for extra bottles of champagne. I originally wanted to have a champagne toast right after the ceremony, but the cost per bottle was kind of ridiculous! So I decided against it. Well, at dinner they set up wine glasses, water glasses, and champagne glasses on the table. The waiter came up to me and asked if we'd like champagne for a toast and I said yes! So, we didn't pay anything for that either. I'm not sure if you're doing the package or if you're paying for things a la carte, but if you don't do the package, you could cut out the cocktail hour as well to save a little bit of money, I know some girls have mentioned this. If I think of anything else I'll let you know, good luck!

I was just reading about the citibank one, there are actually 2 levels, one has an annual fee of $25, but if you do the one with the fee of $65, you get 1 mile for every dollar, instead of the 1 mile for every $2. Hmmm, I was just searching the internet and there are actually a lot of airlines that have debit cards with different banks (who knew!) makes me really wonder why I'm still with sucky citizens. I guess I should think about which airlines I'm most likely to fly on.
-
I try to avoid additional credit cards as much as possible, but I'd still like to be able to earn miles for our trips. Does anyone have a debit/bank card that earns miles? Which bank do you use? And is it worth it in your opinion? I noticed my sisters bank of america card earns miles I have citizens bank and don't really like them anyway, so any reason to switch is fine with me. The reason I ask if you think the plan is worth it is because with our citizens card you earn points based on your credit purchases, well we had almost enough for a free companion airline ticket and then they changed the terms, now all you get for that many points is a $50 credit towards a flight, that's such a ripoff! So, anyone have one?
-
I've never read it, but I heard it was good, so I'm excited to read it.
