I think we've all been slacking on this thread lately! Where is Sherri, she usually bumps it up! Anyway, I did turbojam cardio party this morning, 45 minutes of fun, lol!! It was a great workout for anyone thinking of trying it, got my heart pumping, I had a hard time getting coordinated, but that will get better the more I do it.

My FI has one sister & 3 brothers. He would do anything in the world for them especially because one of his brothers was killed in a car accident when he was 19, just a few years ago, and steve still has a lot of anger & sadness about the accident, even though it had nothing to do with him, but it was his little brother. So, steve is very protective of his little sister, but they got into a fight about a month ago and don't talk anymore. They used to talk a few times a week, they were very close, but then she started psychoanalyzing everything he does (she's a psychology major graduating this year) this really irritated him, which I can understand because she said a lot of hurtful things that were completely off base to him & me. So yes, my FI's sister, while she is a good person and I do love her, she really annoys me sometimes!

I would definetly register, people are going to buy you gifts whether you want them to or not and you might as well get something you want or need rather than a bunch of junk you have to return. We had the same thought about not wanting people to spend more money, but the majority of people we invited aren't coming to the wedding and we know they'll want to get us something. We'd really prefer cash, because we'd like to buy a bigger house,but there are still some things we need. I think we're going to register at linens n things and macys

OMG, I haven't posted in this thread in sooooo long!!!! Ever since I was sick I've been avoiding this one and the exercise one! So I ate really good today and I'm start alternating turbojam & cindy in the mornings (yes thats right, I said in the mornings, getting my butt out of bed bright and early!) I haven't weighed myself since the last time I checked in here and I'm going to wait until friday, so I don't depress myself. I'm hoping that I'll at least end up being the same as I was the last time I weighed in by friday!

I've had the same problems, but my TA gets quicker responses as well.

We're not doing one, just winging it. I'm not really that concerned with anything, maybe if I was having 100 people I'd be worried, but otherwise, I'm just gonna go with the flow, I'll make my final decisions when I get there. And yes, I think the free site visit is if you have a room block.

Jen, I think we all had this struggle. I told my TA when we were looking that I wanted my guests to be around $1000 pp, and depending on the room they chose & how long they are staying they will be around this. You do have to remember that its your day and don't base your decision on other people coming. I really wanted to get married in Antigua, I absolutely fell in love with it when I was doing research, but I was so concerned that it was going to be too expensive for people, and now people that we thought would definetly come aren't coming and I feel like I could have done antigua and it wouldn't have mattered. Not that I'm not happy with Dreams & Mexico, I still love this choice, and we would have spent so much more money in Antigua, we probably wouldn't have been able to stay as long as we are in mexico, but its always in the back of my mind! So go with whichever resort you love and where you will be happy for your wedding. Are there different room types at MP so that your guests can get a less expensive room if they want to?

I LOVE your ring, I love the antique look! I want a wedding band with the antique look, but I'm afraid it will look funny with my er because its a plain band. what about white gold, a lot of the mens rings I've looked at have been 600 or less, most less. I'm not sure what you want to spend, but that might be a reasonable option.

I think when all is said and done we will spend about 15k, this includes our travel (for 3 of us) honeymoon, attire, rings, spending money, wedding, photographer, whatever else I'm forgetting. We originally wanted to stay under 10k, and we could've if we went with a less expensive honeymoon and didn't get a suite for the week of the wedding, but its our wedding and honeymoon, so we wanted to spend the money for the good rooms.

I'm so excited!!!!! My dress came today!!!! So its not any of the dresses I posted before, I never even tried it on until today, and I love,love, love, it, I didn't want to take it off. And what makes me even happier is that I got such a sweet deal on it. I got it on ebay, from a bridal salon, it was a sample, it retails for around $1000, I paid, $225 including shipping. So excited!!! I couldn't take pics of me in it, FI is here, so I had to try it quick before he interupted. I got it in ivory, its lighter than it looks in the picture. The biggest picture is the dress and I also posted the link to it, so you can see it up closer. Let me know what you think. P.S. Angela, I love lace up backs to, thats what I got, and they suck you in so good, but I do think it might take away from the back of yours because they'd have to cut out some of the detail. One of my friends used to use hydroxycut to and it made her really hyper and when she drank alcohol while on it, she acted like a totally different person, it wasn't pretty.
