Mishi, keep up the good work, the chicken and lettuce will be so worth it when you look smokin in your wedding dress! I worked out to Cindy this morning, I think I might try to put in a little time on the treadmill tonight too.

I like it, very pretty! Does anyone know if there are any other options besides candles or sand? I wanted to do the sand ceremony, but FI was married before and they did the sand ceremony, grrr, so I don't really want any part of our wedding to be anythingl like his first wedding. I know sounds stupid, can you tell I don't particularly like his first wife! I may do the sand ceremony anyway, but if I can find something I like thats different I would prefer to do that. Melissa, you know what I saw the other day that may work well for candles. I saw these cracked mosaic vases, that were kind of tall, I thought about buying them for the reception and just putting pillar candles in them, but the candle would be low enough where I don't think the wind would blow it out. That might work, if you put the candles inside of something.

I hadn't weighed myself in weeks, because I didn't want to depress myself, haha. But last week I weighed myself and I was down about 1/2-1 pound from where I was when I stopped weighing myself. So, I'll weigh in this friday and hopefully be down more and I'll let you girls know. We all need to get back on track, we've been slacking and our weddings will be here before we know it. Kate, I'm going to try some of those recipes, they sound good!

I'm getting married at dreams cancun, I think we're going to use our IPOD for the ceremony, have the mariachi for cocktail hour, and then use our IPOD the rest of the night. We're having a small group but I'd still like us to be able to do some dancing, at least the major dances. We're not getting the dance floor, just dancing on the concrete or the grass, depending on where we decide to have our reception.

It sounds like everyone has done the tres leches, I was undecided, but since everyone says its so good, maybe I'll go with that.

Thats great to hear Christa! We are having a small group too, so I think it will work out really well for us. I guess I just have to worry about downloading all of the songs, that should be a big project!

I'm not sure, I would think the gazebo would still be windy, but maybe you would want to check with the WC at Riu, and they can tell you if its really windy there.

Christa, beautiful pics! You looked gorgeous, your flowers were gorgeous. One question, how did the IPOD work out for you guys, we're thinking about doing that.

Well at least you've chosen your location thats the hardest part! I am a dreams cancun bride, so I'm not much help, but there are a LOT of dreams cabo brides here and I'm sure they'll chime in soon. On the weekends it tends to be kind of slow around here, so don't get discouraged if you don't get a response right away.

not at all I think it sounds nice. Just make sure you have something to protect the candles from getting blown out by the wind.

Melissa, I bought a kit at staples. They are just white, with a raised silver border and they came with the response cards & I think reception cards, and all the envelopes, there are 50 in a box. I think they were $25. I didn't want to spend a lot on the invites. I think I saw on Micheal's website, that they had DIY invite kits too, I think it was Micheal's and they were about the same price.

I know, i kept saying I was going to get something simple, and I didn't, ha! courtney, that dress is very pretty! Isn't it so much fun trying on different dresses, I think I went 6 times all together, to different stores, some more than once, and then ended up not even buying a dress from any of them! Talk about indecisive!

I only had 3 choices, the same two as you and I think just a chocolate cake. But our cake is also included in our package, so maybe there are more choices if you are paying for it seperately

I think a fuschia color would look great or maybe a creamsicle color I really like bright colors for pictures, they look so great in pictures

Thanks for posting this Courtney, we are going to EDR for our honeymoon! I'm glad to hear you had a great time. We splurged and spent the money for the swim up casita, which is crazy, but steve really loved the idea. Did you get to see any of the casitas while you were there? I'm glad to hear they have a van that goes to PDC because I know I want to go there.

Good Job Sarah! I was thinking the other day that about how I have 6 months, but summer is coming and the time is gonna fly by and before we know it, it will be september and I'll be 1 month away from my wedding, yikes! I got up early this morning and did turbojam, I'm glad I did it, now its done for the day!

I didn't work out yesterday, I was lazy, and I didn't get my butt out of bed this morning, so tonight I've definetly got some work to do!

OOooh, that would be great, FI wants to find somberos, I was thinking maybe maracas too, but we'll see maybe there will be some other cool stuff!
