  1. good luck, no falling down, lol!! make sure we get to see pictures of this! I'm so scared of tripping over my dress, just walking, I'm not very graceful!
  2. Anny they are gorgeous, I think people would definetly pay good money for them, and even with your directions I could still never make those, half of the supplies I didn't even know what they were, lol, I'm DIY challenged!
  3. you might be able to find somewhere that will do cheap alterations, not everywhere is ridiculous, you could get lucky, it would be worth checking. I think you'll be happier with it, if it fits good. I agree with the other girls though, you might be able to get a really thick bra and it might make it a little snugger
  4. Awww Melissa, your pictures look great, you guys look so happy!
  5. Beautiful! I love the colors! Your dress was gorgeous!
  6. I told my brother (who is not in the wedding) to wear tan pants and a white shirt and I plan to tell me dad the same. Steve will have a tan suit. I don't care if they all have the exact same shirt & pants, I just want it to look nice in pictures. So I didn't want to allow them to just pick any old thing to wear. My brother would probably show up in cargo shorts and a t-shirt if I didn't direct him, lol!
  7. Melissa, it sounds like everything was beautiful and you had a wonderful day! I'm so glad to hear that you liked Erick from Claudias team, I hired Citlalli, so its good to hear that her team is good to work with, I've only heard good things about them. I can't wait to see your pictures!
  8. I've been really bad this week with exercising, I can't seem to get myself into a definite routine!
  9. It has! so then I was looking at the bags I liked and down the bottom there are pics of other bags and I found some other ones I think I like even more because they're a little bigger, they come in so many different colors and they're plain, so they'd be okay for a guy, and I think I could even do some type of iron on, with mexico or cancun or something on them. They're only 3.99 and really cute. Now I just have to make up my mind!
  10. OMG Courtney, you ROCK!! I found these on another website and was seriously considering them, but they were $24 each and I didn't know if I could spend that much, I can definetly get these! Yay!! Thank you!
  11. those are really cute, I'm going to go check them out tomorrow!
  12. holy crap! you've been busy! the dr. seuss vows are so funny!

Starfish are also loosely part of my theme. I ended up buying a swarovski crystal starfish, its really cute, I am trying to figure out what type of necklace I can get to attach it to, if not I'll use it for something else, but its so cute. Susan, like you I really wanted a white gold/diamond starfish, I thought it would be a nice wedding reminder every time I wore it after the wedding, but I was having a hard time finding one I really liked that I could afford. But let me see if I can find the ones I was looking at: this site has a lot of different ones, prices aren't too bad starfish jewelry 14K White Gold .50ct Diamond Starfish Pendant On Cable Chain Necklace at Jewelry Adviser 14k white gold diamond starfish necklace or earrings only $750.00 - Diamond Necklaces some of these are pricey
  14. Thanks Courtney, that is really helpful! I like the idea of the truce bell, I think thats really cute and it would be nice to have that little reminder for those not so fun times. on a side note, and no offense to anyone, but can you see one of us doing the broom ceremony, jumping over the broom, tripping over our dress, and ending up upside down in the sand, too funny!
  15. I got mine from aylee too, she does one for free. But I also got the instructions from mikkistreak to do my own in powerpoint, I just need some time to sit down and work on it. But I've also made a few on my own using powerpoint and word. and as courtney said, we usually all reply so fast because we're at work and on this forum instead of working, hahaha!
  16. Ahhh, I want to see them!!! You don't know how bad I want to run out and find a dollar tree right now, hahaha! I think theres one where I have appointments tomorrow and I'll have to stop in there.
  17. I love the color & the idea of different dresses. One of the weddings I was in we had two piece dresses and we all had different style tops, it looked great and everyone thought it was a great idea. I don't have a large chest by any means, but I do think strapless is tough with larger boobs, at least thats what I've heard, but you have another option for her to choose, so I thnk it will be fine.
  18. I'm having the same problem deciding. I love the train on my dress, its medium length, but I'm wondering if it will be easier to keep it bustled the whole time. I really think I will leave it down for the ceremony and pictures and then bustle it.
  19. OMG Anny, those came out so good! I love them! You are a martha stewart just like sarah!
  20. Don't ask me why its called that, but basically its a store that sells a lot of decorative stuff, every kind of holiday stuff, garden stuff, candles, dishes, etc.... you get the picture, and everything is super cheap. heres the website, this might help explain better Christmas Tree Shops - Don't You Just Love a Bargain

WAY MORE organzied than myself see I thought 630 for dinner might be better too, but I wasn't sure if that was pushing it, thats what I'm going to do too, you made up my mind for me
  22. I know christmas tree shops are located mostly on the east coast, but I wanted to mention that I went there last week and again this week and got some table decorations. But I thought I should mention that if anyone is looking for shells or sea glass for there tables, they had both for $1.00 a bag. I bought 3 of each today just to put on my tables along with these pretty fuschia tea light holders I bought last week. I'll try to remember to take pictures tonight to show everyone.
