Anyone know how to make the songs on the IPOD play with out pausing between each one? I went to the apple store today but it was crazy there because of the new IPhone and I couldn't get help! Also is there a way to cut stuff out of the beginning or end of a song...like when the singer is talking at the beginning (I really don't want to listen to them - get on with it already!)

We have a group of 38 people total and everyone is coming in groups but all at different times. I have used "Los Cabos Airport Shuttle" both times that I have been in Cabo and they have been great. The cost is usually $25 per person round trip to the Hilton but I was able to get all my guests taken care of for $18.50 each. I am also using a bus to take us roundtrip from Hilton to Mi Casa for the welcome dinner and the cost for that is $450.00. If you would like the contact email of the person I am working with send me a PM and i will get it to you.

I let her give me prices on things and then let her know if I wanted to use someone else....details on how it ends up soon!

OK so I am leaving in a few short days for Cabo and have been working on my photo montage to play at my welcome dinner for about a million hours. I am realizing that I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BURN THIS ONTO A DVD using Photo Story 3 for Windows. I need it to be on a CD so that I can put it into the player at Mi Casa. At this point I need to know if anyone knows of a program that will allow me to use music and pictures together and then burn it onto a DVD. Please help since I am running out of time......

I am getting married at the Hilton in only a few days so I can report back as to the actual wedding soon! BUT I would like to tell you that my experience up to now has been AWESOME! Emeline has been extreemly helpful and responcive to me. We have stayed at the hilton 2 times now and have met her on both occasions - she was very warm and friendly and make me feel as though she loves what she does! We were offered 2 nights free stay at the Hilton once we signed our contract so that we could come back for our tasting and finalizing some details. I would say that the shearton was our second coice - great hotel but I didn't get a good feeling from their wedding coordinator - it seemed like we were just another couple when we talked to her... Good luck with your choice!

My "My Publisher" cabo vacation book..
SASSYGIRL replied to TammyB's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
The book looks great - BTW where are you guys holding those baby lion cubs? My kids would love that! -
I am getting married at the hilton and we are having our reception outside. We are going to use tons of candles and the hotel is going to provide the luminars (candles in the paperbags) for the stairs and surrounding areas. I should have pictures to share with you in a few weeks! OMG!
-
Kash - I can't believe you are on your way to get married! ENJOY every minute of it. I would love to hear about your Hilton details before I go for my own celebration but it doesn't sound like you will be home before then! We will be thinking about you and wishing you the best day ever!

I don't know the name of it but it is going to be in the area right below the main pool. And our cocktail hour is going to be at the palapa next to it where you normally get to eat yummy tacos.....OMG I can not wait!

WAIT...so I wont be able to burn it to a disc and slip it into the DVD player at the resturant? Sorry I am TOTALLY NOT A COMPUTER PERSON! I am worried about bringing my laptop since I don't know what cables I will need to hook it up to the projector thing at Mi Casa. The idea is to play it on the big screen at the welcome dinner....

Work and building a house and having a little puppy running around has been taking up all my time! I guess it was the tag for the OOT bags - I love what you wrote and they looked cute! I guess I could just make some on word if there isn't a templete. Thanks for the other templete - I am going to play with it now! -
Place Cards - IDEAS NEEDED! Please!
SASSYGIRL replied to SASSYGIRL's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
We really don't have a theme....it is all my family who are attending the wedding. Our table for the reception is going to have black table linens with a fushia runner and the flowers are going to fushia lillys. We made the picture frame / candle centerpieces. We are also using orange as an accent color. I have been looking around the forum and I like the votive place card holders that someone said they got at michaels or some craft store....but ideas would be awesome! Thanks! -
I guess I wasn't thinking about this (not sure why) but it just came to me that I need some type of Place Cards for my reception. I am having 38 guests and their are 3 types of plated dinners being served (some are having fish vs. beef vs. kids meal.) I am going to have one long table with all my guests at it and I want to be sure that people know where to sit and make sure that Scott and I get to sit by the fun people (only slightly kidding!) I want the place cards to be cute (of course) and I wouldn't mind making them myself but need to get to work on them since I have only 23 days until I will be on a plane to CABO! OMG! HELP with some ideas girls!

Sarah - I have a couple questions for you now that you are a MRS. 1) Did your shoes work out OK? I know that you were concerned that they would make noise and bother you - I have the same worry - just wondering how it ended up! 2) Do you have a picture from your wedding day that shows the details of your makeup? I really loved your make-up and am going to go to MAC and have an appointment there. My cousin who is 19 is going to go with me and help me since I NEVER wear make up and I am way too scared to do it myself! you can either answer me here or PM or email me at [email protected] - THANKS a bunch! -
Many of you might recall that when I met Juan Carlos back in May (after sitting by the Hilton pool for 3 days) he said that I should not get any sun on my skin for 2 months prior to the wedding. I have fair skin and it turns red in the sun - which is not good for pictures! I am going to need to be a gallon bottle of sunblock since I get to Cabo on the 3rd and don't get married until the 7th! I have tired lots of sunscreens in the past and have never found one that works really great. I hate it when your face stings from sunblock or when it doesn't rub in good and you look like you have a white haze on your body! My other issue is that I usually miss a spot somewhere and end up with a glowing red area on my arm or foot or neck - putting on sunscreen sucks! I wish someone would invent a sunblock that you could attach to your showerhead and then you could be totally covered while taking a shower....I know this doesn't make a lot of sence but it's my dumb blond logic talking!
-
When I went for the fitting of my dress the lady at the shop told me to be sure and wear a light slip under my dress for the wedding - she said it would prevent the dress from going between my legs when I walk.... What is everone else wearing under their dress? I know several people have mentioned having cups sewed into their dress (I am doing this too) so that they didn't need to worry about a bra. This sounds silly but are you wearing some cute panties for the wedding? If so - post a picture of what you got! I would like to wear something cute but mgiht end up needing to wear a Spanx to hold everything in! I know that I am going to be really hot in the dress all day and am sure that I will be showering when I get back to the room at the end of the night!

First I would like to say YOU ROCK! I can't believe how lovely everythinig looks and it all carrys out your colors/monogram/theme so perfectly! You are an insperation to me! I only have about 4 weeks until I am walking down the aisle but you gave me so many great ideas! If you could post the templetes for what you made that would be so helpful. (I am especially interested in the welcome card and wedding day timeline!) Again, GREAT JOB - I know your guests are going to be amazed by your tallent! -
Good advice to check the drink prices - mine were a little higher on my BEOS than what was emailed to me a while back when I first got the '07 rates. I sent Emeline an email and I am sure she will take care of it..
