  1. welcome nanci...we have many socal brides on here! Maybe Leigh Miller or Nic D (photogs) will be able to chime in about some great spots in LA or OC.

    Hi!

welcome...there are some great wedding locations in rm.
  4. jamy is right...you could do your wedding at las caletas but stay as dreams PV...the rates at dreams PV are lower than dreams cabo and you get luxury for you guests but a private rwedding/reception

I am new to this site but I am freaking out to find the right information. I agree, it seems really expensive but I don't think I have looked at all of my options! Help! For that amount of money I would stay in the states! i book alot of the dreams cabo brides on the forum and also got married there..let me know if you need help...just pm me.
  6. this forum is still new...it has just been in this location for just over a year and started out as a cabo forum so it is slowly growing. maybe if you have specific vendors that you are looking for someone may have a referral.

So... crossing fingers that everything works out and it's confirmed. So that's Ellie and Ari, June 14, 2008. Whee! First time in print! you must be excited!!
  8. easy solution...since kelly made arrangements to room with the other MOH and now wants to bring her bf, he can come...book a room as a single (and pay the $300 extra) and trade spots with the single MOH. i think kelly made an obligation and should pay the additional $300...

I'm really lost with all of this that wasn't the resort website. you went to an outside wedding coordinators site. what information are you looking for? we have it all here: menus, prices, pics of sites: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t729 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t805 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t5215

The regular price per person was definitely reasonable. what did that include? a photographer, videographer? who charged the $3000 coordination fee? not the resort. angela is right...where did you get this fee? we have had dozens and dozens of brides get married at dreams cabo so we pretty much know all the details on what it entails to get married there.
  11. leia meant to say that the upgrade to the honeymoon suite is free...i hope that is what you meant to say where else will you be able to do a private event with a 3-4 course meal and open bar for $25 per person?
  12. what price was outrageous? dreams cabo is one of the least expensive places to get married...the rate to stay is not cheap but it is really worth it since it is an all-inclusive.
  13. we have been merging alot of older threads to keep the forum running more efficiently. we did have a database corruption a few weeks ago and we did lose some data so it could be that.

What items do you wish you hadn't bought? you can never have too much sunscreen...it is very expensive to buy in the resort. everyone loved our t-shirts...they all wore them and so we knew who was part of the wedding. all the stomach meds itinerary hats for the boys when they went deepsea fishing...we bought them for super cheap in vietnam...like $1.25 each for those tan canvas wide brim hats
  16. i think sarah had them standing up by each chair, but i could be wrong...sarah, where are you?
  17. i used sam perches as well and he is great to work with. he is also a member of the forum.
  18. i can see guest making a family vacation out of the wedding but it is not right for them to assume there is space a the ceremony/reception. do you have a wedding website where you can post something? have you sent out invitations? you may need to put some firm but polite wording about limited capacity = only those invited allowed at ceremony/reception
  19. How exciting! this is a great opportunity for someone planning a 2009 wedding!

And remember these are for five nights, per person. that seems about right...just a few dollars more than the rates i have... ie. your super saver rate comes to about $244 per night
