wow, shelley! i'm sad and happy at the same time - sad that you won't have a starfish beach wedding next month, and happy that you were able to work thru this with amos. like everyone said, he certainly is lucky to have you!

Shelley, I'm sorry to hear that you and Amos have had to make such a difficult decision. I do have to say though that I completely understand. James and I were originally supposed to get married on October 25th of this year and because of certains members of our families being ill and not being able to make the trip and also some other reasons we had to postpone our wedding to March of next year. It was a hard decision to make and when October 25th rolls around it won't be an easy day knowing that I was supposed to be getting married that day. If you need someone to talk to I just wanted to let you know that I've been in your shoes and I know how you feel. Hugz..

Oh Shelley, I am so sorry! Shelley, I am so sad that it did not work out. Man! I was so hoping to see another Costa Rica wedding. I know how you feel though. Only my parents came to my wedding. Everyone else was his family and my friends. It is tough on families, but you really need to do what is best for you because in the end it will all work out. I do hope someday you will have your destination wedding. I am so sad…………
