Thanks for sharing your story. I feel like I was reading my own story. You described so perfectly, and so eloquently, the feelings I was experiencing when Matt proposed (of course we were on top of a snowy mountain in Aspen, and not a beach in Cabo, but....)

I was also balling and said "OMG" a hundred times, that Matt had to remind me to say yes :)

Congrats to you, and thanks for bringing me back in time to the happiest day (so far) in my life as well!

thank you everyone for all of your comments! i was nervous at first to post my journal entry because it is so raw but part of what makes this whole thing special is being able to share how happy you feel with others... especially with people who also know what a great experience it is. i really am still on cloud 9... we got back from cabo on sunday and i still have hardly slept. it is like i'm not even tired... plus i can spend HOURS looking at wedding website stuff, location stuff, so many things that I've looked at for months but now it is just different. i don't feel rushed necessarily but i feel anxious to decide to look at every little option because it is so new and exciting and official. i hope that makes sense :)

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEE! Morgan I am SO happy for you! I knew it would happen in Cabo!!!!

It reminds me a lot of when Martin proposed to me in Playa del Carmen. He was planning to do it on the beach but things just didn't line up that way (poor thing, he was SO nervous he didn't even remember to get down on one knee lol). That is so amazing and awesome! Your story gave me goosebumps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
