another tip while we're talking about hands...

rub a bit of vaseline on your ring finger before the ceremony. Since it'll be hot and humid and you'll prob be nervous, your hands tend to swell and some people can't get the ring on!

So I actually did a "control" study, placing one hand on my lap (the "control" hand) and raising the other in the air ("study subject"). After as soon as 30 seconds there was a noticeable difference!
