Travel mugs - like coffee travel mugs. Lots of people take them on vacation because then you can keep your drinks cold in them much longer than in those little plastic cups they hand out at the bars(so your pina colada actually stays as a frozen drink instead of melting into a juice drink in like 5 min!). Most girls get their logo or something printed on the mugs too to personalize them. Check out discountmugs.com to see the kind we are talking about!

I will be having all of my family pack the contents in their bags. I wouldn't recommend shipping it prior as I ah ve heard horror stories and crazy tax expenses. But another thing to worry about is how many airlines are now charging for extra ags of (1) per customer.

We are doing t-shirts, a map of resort, English-Spanish easy translations, advil, munchies, drink coolers and maybe rafts for the pool.

Just some thoughts...

Hi BrideChilla!

I actually have a potential wedding guest list of 150ppl!!!!! I plan to provide oot bags per person and different ones for the kids. On here I found personalized coloring books and all those nice things for the kids.

Now, my suggestion is to prepare everything a few months before hand and have it shipped to the resort and have your wedding planner hold it for you until your arrival. Just make sure to put insurance on the package.

I will be doing this for my dw in the Dominican Republic.

Hope my advice helps!

Happy Planning!

We have a potential list of 100 Guests and if we do OOT Bags (which we're leaning toward one per family/single traveler in Bank Style Bags with our logo on them and include 2 luggage tags per person traveling, with our favors which will be passport covers, and include our Invitation in the box too and not have anything to lug down with us) it will cost a lot. We might just order some beach bags to bring with us and hand out at our welcome dessert reception and give everyone one to use for either the pool or beach days. Those not traveling with us can keep the passport covers and use them for their passports.

I ordered sumbrerros (sp) and I am putting one in each room. Each one will contain an into letter, flip flops/guest, sunblock, lip balm, inflatable beach ball and water ball (kids in room) and bug spray. I might add some more stuff, but I am not sure.

I really want to do OOt bags but I don't want to have to carry too much stuff with me. Now I'm leaning towards scratching the whole OOt bag idea and just giving my guests a gift bag as they leave the reception. I plan to go shopping when we arrive and fill up the bags with Aruban gifts/treats and one or two personalized wedding favors.

It all depends on the number of guests attending.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
