At first when I mentioned this to my FI he said we will just stay together the night before, but then I explained to himI would rather not see him until I walk down the aisle to make it that much more special!

That is fantastic that you have that option!  I hadn't even thought about where we would sleep the night before.  We have plenty of time to figure it out, but one more thing to add to the list to think about.  This list seems to get longer by the minute... :)

We'll be staying together. We've been together for 10 years, staying apart just would be tacky; and I will need help with getting ready in the morning, and I don't think I would be able to tolerate anybody's presence other then his that early in the morning (he knows how to dodge things by now) ;).

Well, it will just be my fiance and I at the resort, so I'm pretty sure we're staying together the night before.  The only thing I'm having trouble figuring out is our getting ready... I definitely don't want us to get ready in the same room and I don't want him to actually see me until the ceremony... This may get a little difficult...

I think it's completely your choice.

Personally, we are not staying together.  We've chosen to save sex for within marriage and have only slept in the same bed once.  I think this, for us, is a really good expression of our commitment to the covenant of marriage, our religious commitments, and how we want to be accountable to others.  But those are all such personal reasons for us, I think the decision should come between you two.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
