I'm wondering if I should opt for cheaper quality since it's just going to be a TTD dress... $500 is a lot for a TTD!
I would definitley go for the cheaper TTD dress. I'm going to wear my actual wedding dress for TTD. I figure i'll only ever wear it during these times so i don't mind if it gets ripped, dirty etc...the memories will be there. I'm going to risk it and order online and hope it turns out so I know i won't be reselling, it'll just be one of the MANY items of clothing that sits in my closet for years that i can't part with...lol

do they send you pictures of some of the work they've done that is similar to what you ordered? I'm really tempted to order my dress through them but am also really scared that it will be nothing like what I wanted....

        Help!
You can ask them to if you like. I had ordered a dress for a work formal event to suss them out. It was beautifully lined and great quality so I haven't worried about getting a pic.

I wish I could use my wedding dress in the TTD but it's silk, silk and water don't work well and it's pretty fitted so I need something with a little more movement =/

Did anybody have to pay customs on their dress? I've ordered some small hair clips from China before and didn't but thought maybe it was different with bigger/more expensive items.

I just don't know how the customs thing works. My future mother in law lives in Canada and ordered a dress from Nordstrom's then like a week later got a customs bill for $56.
