  1. I'd say it really all depends on how much you want to pay. Obviously making your own playlist is much more cost efficient (what we did). We didn't have a private reception so there was no dancing. After the wedding and pictures we all just went to the buffet and had dinner together. There was entertainment so if you wanted to dance, you could. But nothing was private. I THINK the cost of a private reception/dinner started at $40-50 a person. Good luck planning!
  2. Shoes and guestbook pages are gone!! Â All DIY things remain as well as the postcards. Thanks for looking!
  3. Yay! So glad you got them!! Â I'm sorry, they were one of the first things to go!
  4. Oh I'm so glad it got there and you liked it. You're very welcome!
  5. Guest book pages, shoes, post cards, envelopes, paper cutter all still available!
  6. chair sashes/table runner sold! Remaining: shoes guestbook pages postcards all DIY things except the small pink corner rounder

  8. small corner cutter and bracelet sold! Thanks Luciel!
  9. Favor bags are gone! Sashes, runners, corner punch and bracelet spoken for.... will update when sold or if they become available. Thanks for looking!
  10. I wore flip flops. I didn't care because people weren't going to see my shoes a lot and I wanted to be comfortable while running around the resort (cause you certainly get around for pictures!) But I got some Reefs that were white and super glittery. They're much more sparkly than this picture lets on... Ultimately it's whatever YOU want!
  11. For the DIY'ers out there... 3 packages (25 per pack) of #9 bottom open envelopes - $6 I think these are white. Be sure to note the size they fit because I bought them and they ended up being too small. Paper cutter - $12 Comes with one blade and one perforation wheel (used to create our STD boarding passes with perforated ends). Small corner rounder - $1.50 Ideally bought with the paper cutter since it's pretty cheap. This is the "small" version and you can see the corner it makes in the picture. Tends to get stuck every now and then but works ok. Corner cutter WITH HALF CIRCLES - $4 This creates a round corner AND two half circle cut outs as you can see in the picture. Bride and groom stamp and black ink pad - $3 THE END!
  12. Post cards - $4 The back is blank with the exception of a small image along the top left. Text: From a wedding in Jamaica! bottom right corner: The weather is here, wish you were beautiful - J Buffet. 34 unique Guest book pages - $15 Our guests ended up filling these out per couple/family instead of per person. I bought them from Welcome to the Guestbook Store! Guestbooks for Every Occasion! I do NOT know if these will fit into a regular 3 ring album. I haven't tried but took a picture with a ruler in case you want to check before purchasing. These are their "casual predictions" pages without any personalization. I will include the package of markers we used. I like that they were a flat pack and easy to travel with. Only 47 of the 50 markers are accounted for. Four strand fake pearl bracelet - $3 I've actually had this for years and years but thought somebody might want it for a wedding (not my style). It's definitely not real and some of the metal has tarnished a touch. Just thought i'd throw it out there.. More still...
  13. I tried to make sure everything I bought was going to be kept or used up/given away. With that said, I have a few extra things laying around and would rather them help another bride than get tossed. All prices INCLUDE shipping because I don't want to bother with figuring out the additional cost. I only take paypal and will consider offers. Satin chair sashes: 8x108 40 in "Clover" - $25 40 in "Bubble gum" - $25 Or $45 for all in both colors Satin table runners: 13.5x108 5 in "clover" - $7 5 in "bubble gum" - $7 Or $12 for all in both colors image of sashes and runners at our AHR: 11 favor bags with card attached - $2.00 I forgot to measure the bags but can if you need. The tag is metallic pink/fuchsia paper and says "A loving note can barely say, all that we feel this magic day. A heartfelt thanks we send to you, for your warm love and wishes too" Blue shoes - $8 These are size 8.5M. I had plans to bling them up a little but they were too big. I even put some Dr Scholls inserts in them but they were still too big. With or without inserts, just let me know. Only tried on, not worn. More to come...
  14. Oh also, another "flaw" I noticed this weekend was that the corset back I had (instead of the zipper on the real one) went down farther than my lower back (onto my butt basically) which caused it to bunch up a bit and make my a$$ look bigger. Not sure if they can fix it now but you might want to measure your torso and have them check the length of the corset back....

Lavina Royale - by Maggie Sottero I think overall it looks great short of a few changes. They left out the beading on the pickups but I sent more pictures and they are adding that in. But i'm concerned about the bust, the beading looks sparse around the top edge and i'm not sure about those flat circular beads. It seems like the bust is too big as well, i don't have a whole lot going on up top and compared to the original dress the bust seems wide...and a few inches taller which would swallow any chest I have and almost hit my neck... Any thoughts? Soooo.... they made the regular lavina for me. Here's me in it this Saturday at our AHR. I loved the dress!!! The beading was different but I didn't mind. I also didn't think the fit was quite as flattering but attributed it to my gaining 30 pounds between trying on the original and the wedding. Oops!

I just emailed them and sent them the link and pictures so I hope they reply. I am just in LOVE with this dress. I wanted an open back as well. I just can't justify $1600 (what it retails at). Thanks so much! You're helping ease my anxiety. I'll see what they send and I'll keep you all posted! Do you think they would do a good job? I agree that the beading is the only part I would worry about. I assume a seamstress could come up with something but that's probably a lot of extra money. You always have the option of losing your deposit and not taking the dress too. If somehow it was me who ended up with the dress and I didn't like the straps, i'd look into some things like in the links below to just put a couple stitches in and hopefully cover the existing beading. It's definitely not as beautiful as the real thing and hopefully they'd do a good job but I think it might work if you're desperate. Haha. Good luck! I'm not trying to be a topic stealer, I just need some help from those who have already done this. THanks so much! Any help is appreciated! Nikki This it?

I'm not sure how long you have before you're wedding but if you've got at least a month they should fall out fine. I checked into dry cleaning after our wedding and it was more than what I paid for the dress so I forgot about that idea!! Not sure what steaming would cost and I wouldn't attempt it myself pre-wedding. good luck!

I'm really happy with it considering it was only $20 including shipping!! The listing said it was coming from California but it came from China. Doesn't really bother me. Here's the ebay store website AVIVABRIDAL items - Get great deals on Colored, Fingered items on eBay Stores! Unfortunately I didn't see any mermaid ones but maybe somebody else on ebay has them! I also second the 30 day shred comment!! I'm two workouts away from starting level 3 and have lost 6 pounds and 3+ inches off my waist alone (i'm not following the diet but am just trying to eat better and within the ranges that Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople recommends for me.

It should be arriving any day so I can let you know how the quality is.
