Again, thanks for the compliments everyone!

My cake was the free cake from the RIU. It seems that you're able to request how many tiers you want, so we requested 3. We got 1 layer of vanilla & 2 of chocolate. No rum! It had some kind of strawberry filling! It was really good!

The day of the wedding, I literally only saw Chandlyn like 2 times. Once when she came to get me from my room to take me to the ceremony site & the next time she made an appearance at the disco. That was it! She did a great job with the decorations & everything, but I didn't like that she wasn't visible & pointing us in the direction that we needed to go. Now, I'm not complaining cuz we basically did what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it, but it would've been nice to have some type of direction here & there.

Yes, Robin was an outside photographer. Many of us from BDW have used her, especially the latest ROR brides Heidi, Jocelyn & Courtney to name a few! She is phenomenal.

Thanks Butlergirl! Audrey did my hair! She was great. I pretty much let her do her own thing. I told her that I wanted a plain bun & she just worked her magic! With the wind on the beach & the humidity, having my hair up was the best way to go.

And hey, you have 17 days to go huh!!! Are ya readyhuh.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
