I am really glad that you contacted Frank about photography for your day.. You will not be disappointed! just make sure you have an idea of shots that are must haves b/c Frank takes a lot of pictures... He required a $100 deposit to book the date and the balance due 1 week prior to event date. I didn't go with him for video due to my budget... but please go w/ video b/c i didnt and I regret it... Let him know that Chiquita & Norris referred you if you book. Congrats!

  5. I am super excited i got my marriage register today! They sent me two copies. Questions for previous brides: Do i have to go to clerk of court office to get this recorded here? Is there anything else i need to do to make sure its recognized here? Can i take this to DMV, SSA and Banks to change my name? Super excited to claim my name on everything, well almost everything.... Please help!
  6. We used the mic and it was free of charge.. My guests and beachgoers heard the minister, when we said our vows and when out scripture reading was done by my friend. You can tell Chandalyn you will need a mic and she can have it set up for you.

We were very happy and blessed ... i guess it shows in the pics..

I actually had the thought of doing the message in the bottle invites and simply wording them as if we were literally sending them from Mexico..something along the lines of "Sending Our Love From the Shores of Mexico" along with the fact that yes, we got married and here's the celebration info. For those who have had AHR's, what did you do to notify people? Any suggestions or ideas would be great. I think this idea is super cute! I would stick with it. I sent out AHR invites that basically told them we were getting married in Ocho Rios Jamaica and if they could join us for reception upon our return. I made them really cute with my them and colors throughout.. seashells and crystals-- colors mango and aqua..

  12. We HM at Couples San Souci in Ocho Rios.... It was awesome... My review of couplese san souci will be coming very soon w/ pics....
  13. I think I have about 8-9 raffia fans already wrapped in orange ribbon. No charge for fans but you pay for shipping.
  14. I used 2 1lb jars of sand in blue and orange. That was more than enough to fill up my frame. I forgot to glue the edges for transport so i would really recommend this b/c when i unpacked some of the sand was all over in my bag. It falls between the cracks b/c remember the frame is made to hold pics not sand ... use a little glue and you should be fine. I plan on adding a pic later. I will assume you pull out a glass panel, glue center and glue your pic and then slip the panel back in.... I am at work right now so i can't find my sand ceremony pic... Good luck..

  16. My pics were done by Frank Panaro out of Miami... He was really reasonable and will work with you. He takes a ton of pics. He did all my wedding pics the day of and my TTD pics the next day. I have almost 1600 pics when he was finished and about 700-800 different shots!! check out my link Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket... His website is Miami Wedding Photographers – Frank Panaro Photography and Video. If you email him or call him he will respond super quick. Let him know Chiquita referred you.
  17. I am a bad bride b/c i didnt tip Chandalyn at all. I think i will mail her something. I totally forgot about it..

We made one stop to the resort and did not stop on the way to the airport 2) Does it stop at any other resorts on the way? Our shuttle stopped at one resort on the way there-- Sandals We are taking quite a few bags of luggage and possibly boxes with the OOT bag stuff in them. We had 7 bags and all of our stuff fit with a 8 other people and their luggage on our bus 3) Is there enough room on there for all of our stuff? I would recommend using Admiral Bailey. Welcome to Admiral Bailey Transportation Services Jamaica - Taxi and Tours Jamaica - Taxi and Tours Jamaica - Located out of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, Jamaica provides Transportation Services throughout Jamaica - www.admiralbaileytransportationservi He was very nice and took good care of us. We used him for our intown exursions and he was sort of like a tour guide. He took us to island village where Margaritaville is located and stayed with us the entire time. He also took us to Dunns River for our TTD pics and stayed with us the entire time. He even held our things so they didnt get wet, like $ and cell phone.....

Our photographer was a little under $3k and we brought our own music.. Wedding songs pre-recorded on cds and ipod list. If I could change anything i would invest in a good videographer to video the entire day... I wouldn't use the resort videographer...A couple of moments were missed from pics so i would like the video to relive the day...
  20. actually micheal and the photoshop didn't even contact me the day of my wedding offering services... it may be that i got approval months prior letting them know that i was bringing my own photographer....... as far as flowers contact taiflora directly ...jenvvie is awesome... i did changes to my arrangements up until 2 days prior to ceremony.... if they are not flowers that are available in jamaica they have to special order.... my flowers arrived about 4- 5 hours prior to ceremony... they were great...
  21. i ended up purchasing a steamer from target for $25 bucks... its really a travel size and did wonders on the train of my dress.... i would recommend to all brides just put your dress in the overhead bin and avoid the hassle of some of the flight attendants.....it may not get that wrinkled but just get you a small steamer just in case... my maid of honor steamed the front prior to me putting on and then steamed the back of the dress with me half way in it.... great idea!!! and it kept me sane thru all the madness going on around me..
  22. i went with the chocolate cake with buttercream icing........it was not chocolate more like german chocolate and the icing was whipped cream.... we really did not like the cake but the presentation was awesome once they removed the yellow off ....
  23. purchased my bouquet and gazebo arrangements from Tai Flora.... they turned out great. gazebo arrangement bouquet
  24. Are you having an AHR? if so i would chunk the top layer of cake from Jamaica. We ate maybe a couple of slices from the cake b/c it was so aweful.
  25. We play a cd and had our music on ipod if the cd didnt play..... The cd player was really loud and could hear the music upstairs in my suite above the gazebo as i was getting ready......you can also here it the music at the pool bar that is about 50 or so paces from the gazebo. Save the money and spend on flowers or your bridal hair style or a massage or something..... i just think the band is good but not worth that charge for the amount of time you need them for....
