ROR Future & Past Brides....What song did you walk down the ailse to?

Recommended Posts

I do - as far as I know, they're the only ones in the area. They are a bit pricey - $1,000 (four musicians) for one hour, but I've always wanted classical music at my wedding, and think they will be beautiful on the beach.

I actually was referred to them by my wedding photog, Brian Nejedly.

PM me if you want the name/number of the cellist (who will put together the group for you).

Are you having a beach reception? How are you arranging your first dance for the beach?

Are you doing your first dance directly following your ceremony, or are you going to go to dinner and then go back to the beach to do your first dance?

Well since my ceremony is at 11am, we are going to do 1st dance, bouquet toss and garter toss at the beach gazebo right after the ceremony. Well actually we will do group pics, then do all that stuff, then have lunch reception at Mammee Bay. Since we are paying for them by the hour i want to fully enjoy the hour!!

Bridal Party - "somewhere over the rainbow" tropical version Israele ....

Me & Dad - "Answer" Sara McLaughlin

Walk out - "This is us" (I forgot who sings it) It's cute & upbeat

I also had a CD of songs that played for seating & after the ceremony for pictures & rum punch.

It was great!!

Our ceremony was at 11am also and I begged Chandlyn for some type of lunch reception and she said we couldn't have it, we would have to wait till dinner so that's why we decided to go to Evita's. It all worked out but I'm just glad Chandlyn is realizing that some people want to have their reception right away not wait hours.
Who wants to wait 6 hours for the receptionhuh.gif That's crazy. I didn't want to do that b/c I felt like I would be taking over my guests entire day. This way they can still spend thier afternoon doing whatever they please, and if they want to come back and join us that night at the disco to party they can. I'm glad you were able to work something out though. I wish we had in our budget to take everyone to a local place, that would be so cool!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
