ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Has anyone worked with Jael, I have called her and emailed her and have not heard back, and it's been two weeks.  I am getting frustrated, I only have 2 month to go and have alot of questions. 

 

Can anyone help with this question, I want to have a single live flower in my hair, do they provide them or can I buy one from town, I'm not going to pay the vendor fee for one extra flower.

 

And does anyone know if they have square tables?  All I have seen in pictures are round.

I know it is so frusterating, I just pick up the phone and call now and ask for a follow up e-mail so I have everything in writing to.

 

They do have flowers for the hair. You should have gotten your checklist did you not get that yet? You check off on the check list which one you want. There is the luxury flower for $15 or standard flower for $8. For example if you want an orchid its considered a luxury flower if you just want a rose or a lilly it is a standard flower.

 

When I was on my site visit last year they said they could get square. However I would get that confirmed because it seems that everything is constantly changing there.

Ya it is right around the corner and in walking distance.. You come out of the resort take a left onto 5th ave and its about two stores down. They have Tiffanys in there and the MAC store up the whole top floor. You take a cool elevator right up.

No I didn't. I was not sure whether to go with them or not at the time. When I went and asked about them coming to the resort I was told they would not do that. Even though it is only a short walk in that heat I wanted to be able to relax in my room lol have a mamosa and not do any running a round. So I went with Fernando Fuentes and his team who will do both hair and make up.

 

I know there are artists that work for MAC that work independently. Lady Di used Norma who works out of the one in Cancun and she will come to your hotel room.

Haven't been on in a long time, and I am pages and pages behind, lol!!

 

1.  Jescman,

Do you have Fernando Fuentes, contact info?  Do we need to pay the vendor fee for him?

 

I  am stil contemplating whether I should use SpaAzul as it is included in my package.  Has anyone used them?

 

2.  I wanted to arrange a meet/greet/welcome dinner.  I think it's absolutely the stupidist thing that I have to pay for this (if I do it at a restaraunt at the resort).  Has anyone been dealing with the same thing?

 

3.  If I am not having a wedding party, do I still need to do a wedding rehersal?

 

When do we have to have our food selection, etc, sent in by?  My wedding is November 16, 2010, but not all my guests have booked yet, and will likely not book until beg-mid Sept, so I don't want to send it in until I have a final number.

Hey there!  You, Me and RunningBride are right in a row!  Together we can take over the resort!  LOL  If you hear a bunch of loud crazy people it's probably our group of family and friends...  They're super friendly but like to have fun.  You can identify us by our turquoise tumblers that we're passing out to all our guests!  We get there on the 7th and getting married 10/9/10.  Congrats to you and hope to see you there.  It's getting close girl!!

You are inspiring me to lose the 10lbs I want to lose!  I ride horses and live on a ranch, so am very active. If I just watch what I eat, I know I can do 10lbs by 10/11/10   I can't go crazy with workouts ...no time. Will probably just do LeanBody for Her shakes for dinner. That should do the trick   (along w/ no/low carbs in general)
