I had 11 months to plan our wedding and its been fairly stress free so far!!

We are getting married this June in Punta Cana at Majestic Elegance. We loved it there on vacation and got to see so many weddings there. At our resort, a private dinner/reception can run anywhere from 1,000-3,000 depending on the number of people. The wedding consultant's have been helpful, I have had about 3 different ones so it's been a little confusing, but at first they did take longer to respond since my wedding was not close, now they get right back to me. There is an onsite photographer at our location. We used them for pictures when we were on vacation so we know the quality of their services and it's usually more when you go outside of a resort. You will most likely have to pay a fee for them to come. I know someone who did get married before hand, but that was back when you needed bloodwork and all that down down in the DR which they didn't want. It may end up being cheaper ceremony wise because you would just be paying for a symbolic ceremony instead of a civil. My advise would be to contact the resort ASAP and have them send you the packages- it should have all the info you mentioned above included! Happy Planning!

I made a picture collage for each girl with the saying "Can't say I do without you". They all loved them!

We are doing the AHR at place close to our house. Buffet style food and we are wearing our wedding day attire! If i can wear my dress again I'm happy! We hired a dj and a photographer and got great deals as it may not be considered a typical reception. Doing a dessert table instead of a cake.

We invited anyone we would to a regular wedding at home. We were so excited to see all the responses of people who were interested in going to our destination wedding!

Love the idea but budget is tight. Hopefully we can get the video as I would like to have that for the AHR to show.

I'm doing a picture for the destination wedding where the guests can sign all around it then I'm having a group picture taken to put in it. For the AHR I'm doing a book on shutterfly for the guest book.

We had 11 months and sent the save the date. Most places you book with can put people on a payment plan and that has helped my guests.

I'd say different color or a different short dress.

My finance wanted a suit, so we found him a lightweight grey suit that he is wearing with flip flops and a white dress shirt. The guys are going to be in grey pants very similar to the groom's and a white dress t-shirt and flip flops!

I'm not doing a veil as I want the back of my dress since we are getting married on the beach to really be seen.

We gave money for thier dresses, got necklaces, braclets, mugs for keeping their drinks cool at the resort, and a few other travel accessories.
