Carly I am looking into staying at the Moon Palace and getting married at the Sun Palace too. How far away is the Sun Palace and the Moon Palace? Was it hard for the guest to get there? Did you book a room or anything at the Sun Palace to get ready? Your pics are beautiful!

Hey my name is Kimbelry (Kim) too. I would love to see some pics of the resort and your wedding. I am hoping to get married at one of the Palace resorts this May. I was looking at Moon Palace but heard mixed reviews about the beaches there. Any insight you have on any of the palace resorts would be helpful.

Did you travel to any of the other Palace Resorts while you were down there? I was curios of the distance betweeen Aventura and Moon Palace.

I will look at Samuel Luna too. rpingree01- I spoke to Claudia and the only one available in her group was Freddy Ku and he had great pics but his photo editing style was my least favorite. The good news is that I am a procrastinator so I haven't booked my date yet. I am thinking I may be able to find a date that Citlali has available and then book the resort. I need to hurry up though if I want to get married in May 2011.

Hi Melissa, I will be using DJ Julian from Mood Event Services [email protected] . Mood Event services have lower prices than Doremixx and Mannia. DJ Julian speaks fluent English (he lived in the U.S. for a while) and he always responds quickly to my questions and gives me plenty of details. I met DJ Julian a couple of weeks ago, he happened to be traveling to Houston (where I live), so we met to discuss my reception. He used to work for Senor Frogs in Cancun. I gave him some examples of the music that I like (mostly top 40 songs) and he has all those songs....they have a collection of over 60,000 songs. They seem to have really good sound equipment too, they're always updating their equipment. They have a lightup dance floor, but I haven't decided yet if I will use that. I suggest that you check into Mood Event services, if you haven't decided on a DJ yet. Christi How long will you be having DB Julian and how much was his quote? I know most people say DJ Mannia is aobut $900.

Fire dancers sound fun but do you really want to watch them dance for more than 10 minutes anyway. It seem like it would get old pretty quick. If you look at it that way the cost will not be as high. My cousin had some at here wedding in Isla Mujeres but I am not sure how much they were there. They were good!

Do they carge the $88 guest fee for you to go in there and do the hair and make up? Do you bring an extra person or is it just you?

Good idea about not telling them about the outside photographer and just acting like they are your guest. I am going to go with this plan as well.

I know I am so confused can you hire an outside DJ or not? What is the real cost to bring them in if you can? Who has already had a wedding at a Palace Resort and were you able to bring in an outside DJ? What did it cost you?

I love Citlalli but she is not availble on the day I wanted to get married. Who would you suggest that would provide that same types of photos? I am so confused and the photos are really important to me.
