Hi and welcome! The first thing we did was sit down and decided who we wanted to come ( we are only having immediate family, like parents, brothers, sisters, and a few close friends to keep it cost friendly). After we did that we made a budget and put it in order of what is important to us, for example, we wanted a decent photographer but could care less about a cake. From there we found a resort whose wedding packages fit into our budget (some offer free weddings, ect). Do you have any idea about where you want to get married?

Congrats on your engagment! We are using a travel agent but I contacted the resort wedding planning myself. The travel agent said she could but I like to be able to do things myself! I guess you could do it either way. And don't worry the first little while is really overwhelming, but once you pick a destination and resort, then confirm a wedding date, everything else seems to just fall into place!

Congrats on your recent engagement! You will need to get special permission for Americans travelling into Cuba. And if you chose to go through a different country, such as Canada or Mexico, you can get hefty fines (such as 5000-10000) and/or also spend time in jail (not recommended!) This personally happened to a close friend of mine, so please please look into it carefully! I think you should have who ever you want walk you down the aisle! It's your wedding and your special day! Find a bridal store that carries Alfred Angelo wedding gowns. They have a lot of gowns that have color in them and you can change it to whatever you want, even orange! Happy Planning:)
