Anyone?

I'm a 2013 bride as well! Have you picked a resort yet? Our date is May 11, 2013 at the Gran Caribe Real Chapel.

Hi, I have been looking at resorts quite a bit and reading as many reviews as possible. I am now stuck between IB Paraiso del Mar and The Gran Caribe Real. Both have chapels which is important to us. The Gran Caribe's looks a little nicer to me. The pricing for our guests would be less expensive at the IB and the wedding itself seems like it would be slightly less expensive as well. Both look like beautiful resorts and are family friendly. If anyone has an input on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Two of my good friends both got married in August of 2010. I saw how stressed out planning made them and worried I'd be the same. The week leading up to their weddings they were running around like crazy, stressing out instead of getting excited. By the end they were saying they just couldn't wait for it to be over. The day of their weddings they both spent so much time going around making sure everyone else was having fun that I don't think they really were able to relax and enjoy their day. My fiance and I have always loved going on vacations and a destination wedding seemed more "us". We can relax and enjoy a whole week with all of our family and close friends. All of the important people said they would be able to attend so that is what made the final decision for us. I can't wait!

I was wondering who everyone is using for photography. I hate to pay the outside vendor fee but photography is so important to me!

Everything I wanted and more

Hi, I am looking into having a destination wedding in May 2012 and am looking into the Chapel at the Gran Caribe. I read somewhere that you can walk through the kids club to have a longer walk to the chapel. Did they show you that option? I am really hoping not to have to walk down the staircase to the right of the chapel. That is really my only reservation.

Hi, I am looking into booking my wedding at the chapel at the Gran Caribe Real Cancun. I absolutely love the look of the chapel but I am having some reservations about the entrance. I've read that the main entrance is a stairway directly to the right of the chapel. I feel like this might make a rather akward and short walk down the aisle. I read that the other option is to walk through the kids club and straigh down to the chapel. I was wondering if anyone has done this and how it worked out. Also if anyone has any pictures that would be really helpful. I want to put my deposit down but I want to be sure of my choice of venue. Thanks!!

Hi everyone. I am newly engaged and we are looking at May of 2012 in the chapel. My only concern is the entrance way to the chapel. I saw that they have you enter through the side stairway, and I'm afraid it's going to make for an akward entrance. I was wondering if anyone has seen it in person and could comment on this. Thanks!
