Hi, I think it depends on your budget. The Bahamas has so many musicians at your disposal. We are planning to have a steel band and a DJ at ours next year. So I do have some contacts and I have close friends that live in Nassau, so just let me know maybe I can help.

I need to vent ladies....I am torn between having weight loss surgery and doing it the natural way! My wedding is in 399 days and I need to lose 60 to 80 pounds. Can I do it? I have lost 30 pounds on my own before, but I am not sure if I can do so much. If you guys know of any weight loss plans that you know work, please share!!!

The Wyndham Nassau Resort is not exactly all inclusive. I worked out an arrangement with the hotel where I have that included in my rate. I was looking at the RIU on Paradise island myself- I love Paradise Island. I love Atlantis, but their rates are over the top. Depending on your budget, the RIU may be the place for you. I checked it out and several reviews and it was not for me. I want my guests to be comfortable and have some fun as well plus with the economy out of control as it is, I don't want the price of coming to my wedding to be outrageous! I hope you choose the best place for you and your fiance!

We settled on Wyndham Nassau Resort! It is an amazing location. The wedding planner Lisa Harris is amazing and she will really work with you as far as pricing. If you want any custom things she will make it work! Let me know if you need any recommendations for vendors, because I have found quite a few. And I have had bad experiences with some of the other planners in the surrounding hotels so if you need any feedback I would love to give you a hand! Happy Planning!

Absolutely amazing pictures!

Just reading these comments I am put at ease. The only thing I have been really stressing about is whether people will book and come to celebrate with us....but as I am now embracing this day is about my FI and me! That is the reason why we are doing a DW we just want the people who really love us there! Thanks ladies for putting it all into perspective.

No Lyndsay_h we do not have common law marriage in Virginia- so that would not work. Believe me we have already considered this! We have talked to a few of our guests and they have stated that they would still come- guess they love us that much!

It is for financial reasons actually. And since my first post we have further discussed it and we may wait until toward the end of the year. But I will keep you all updated.
