I am from Canada and I bought them from Avon for cheap and they are pretty big! Thats also where I got our lip balms from..I am sure it wouldnt be hard to find a rep either. We booked about a year in advance but we had to go a specific week as I am in between semesters for school and we wanted to give our guests lots of time to save the money. Â

I was also looking and there was nothing I saw that I liked. Someone else on here said Tai flora was really expensive so I did some investigating and found an amazing flower shop - however I just found out its in Negril!!! way too far away. What is everyone else doing for flowers now as I am a bit lost... Â

We are also flying with Transat and you have a choice b/t regular and Royal Golden and its about a $100 price difference. We gave all of our guests the option and so far everyone is going with golden and we have about 25 booked right now. Â Someone said here too - maybe Kerri that if you bring your own photographer you can talk to Beverly and maybe get something else in return - ie free flowers for a BM so I am deff going to try this and Ill let you know how it goes! Â

I would also check out the sash sharing - freecycle thread on here as you might find them from another bride!

I also dont see the point to pay someone to press a button...do they have the hook-ups for an ipod - this is not my area i am not tech navvy at all. Another thought that I saw in my bridal mag - do we know if they have a steamer there for all of our dresses and BM's or are we expected to bring our own? ahhhhhh...so many quesitons! lol

thanks for posting this,...I was also wondering about flowers. So Im guessing when we get down there we will choose all the flowers when we meet with Beverly? What are you all doing about centre pieces, I was going to do vases with floating flowers but the thought of bringing down the vases gives me a headache...I am trying to think if there is anything I can get down there.

GBJ has a free wedding package -and it includes 16 people dinner, brides flowers and grooms boot, along with a champagne toast after the ceremony...however it doesnt cover the judges fee's but they are only like $250us. We are going with this package as I think its pretty good. We have a couple of kids going and the GBJ has a kids club..also it is okay to bring your own photographer while places like Beaches dont or make you pay a fee to bring an outside vendor. Hope this helps!

I was also told that the dinner is at 6:30pm so we are getting married at 4pm to make it a bit better for guests, that will also give us about 2 hours for pictures which seems like enough time. We are also doing the gazebo after and that starts at 8:30pm so another 2 hours for dinner should also be fine. Does anyone know where they want to have the dinner, my TA asked me the other day but I have no clue as there are mixed reviews about them on the travel sites...sounds like Jap is best but I dont want that for the wedding dinner...I was thinking Gourmet or the Italian restuarant...thoughts?

So...stupid me! I went to the Coach outlet in Niagara Falls the other day and saw an orange coach wristlet I wish I would have bought for my mom to thank her for everything so far. If any of you live in Niagara or Buffalo or are going anytime soon and would be able to go to the outlet and purchase it and send it to me that would be amazing and I will deff pay you for it as I live about 5 hours away and cant see myself going back anytime soon. I got mugs done at 4imprint.ca and we lovvvee them! They were about $400 for 60 though as they charge a set up fee of $60 and the shipping was like $60 to Canada also. I felt like it was a must for the OOT bags though. We also booked through our travel agent and she is amazing and making my life so stress free. They have to pay a $200 deposit and then the remainder 60 days before departure, however she is nice enough that people have $ coming off their pay checks that go right to her...seems like the easier option so its not one big bang before we leave. I am also getting married on a Tues so thats interesting about the beach party, however I know there is also a disco to party at too.

Thats really good to know about the booze as there is no way I can afford the $15pp for it...I would ask around of what people like, I would deff say Vodka and Rum and some beer...youll need some mixes too. I might ask if they can set up a table so its a little more forma. I know when I went to cuba we payed the one bartender we got to know and he gave us full bottles and mixes for like $10...looks like we all need to charm some bartenders, lol
