I have been told we can bring outside vendors in, with a fee of 300 USD. Is this what everyone else has been told? I'm worried that I will end up with some problems! I have an email straight from the WC about this however, so I have it saved and printed of!!

Hi everyone! Just wondering if there are other November 2011 brides that are getting married in Cabo! I'm booked at the Riu Palace for 11-10-11!

I am from Edmonton too! I'm booked at the Riu Palace. I think it will be about $1500 for each guest, but I'm in the middle of finalizing it. The Santa Fe would be cheaper. I can't comment on the prices at Dreams, but hopefully you get that information! I picked the Riu because it is closer to Cabo San lucas and has a disco (my friends like to party!!). I'm just booked!!! I am getting married at the Riu Palace on November 10, 2011. Let the planning begin!

Hi everyone! We have finally made our decision and it is going to be Riu Palace!! I'm excited! One aspect that worries us is the DJ. We like to party I know you can go to the disco but it's not the same! Does anyone know if they cut it off right at 11? Also, in order to get a DJ, do you need a certain package? If we were renting the steakhouse or mexican terrace would this allow us to get a dj? (I know they have rules about it). Any information would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

Santorini is my absolute favorite place in the world, but it doesn't quite have the white beaches. However, the atmosphere there is unbeatable and romantic! I have stayed in Firastefani and I definitely recommend that view!!!

Thanks so much! That's a great idea to possibly go with a condo rental. Do you have any ideas of any good ones? Would it be possible just to rent the condo for a day or two or is there usually a minimum?

Hi there, I have tried searching on this forum and the internet for some information on beach wedding rules in Maui and I am just wanting some clarification. I know you can't have chairs on the beaches, is this correct? Is there a beach location with a grassy area that some chairs can be placed for elderly guests? Also, I know that you can't have an arch on the beach, are you still allowed to have some flowers on the beach (in a circle around the couple?). I've seen pictures of this and I think it looks amazing! Any input would be great because I am trying to decide on Maui versus other destinations where they do not have some of these rules. However, Maui is gorgeous!

I'm finding that I can open some attachements and not others....strange....

I am a junior member and was previously able to open attachements. I tried today with a few different attachments and I am unable to. I am wondering if there is a glitch?

Hi ladies! I'm thinking about booking the Riu Palace Los Cabos. If I rented out the mexican terrace or the whole restaurant (depending on how many people come)-do you know where the dance floor is located? Is there enough room for the dance floor if you only have the terrace booked? Also, I have had conflicting information. If you are renting out the terrace and/or restaurant-is it correct you could pay for both seatings and have it from 6:30-11? Thanks!

I will definitely plan a welcome cocktail, I think that is a nice touch! I would like to plan a couple of optional excursions. Question-do most people have guests pay for these excursions or pay for them?

I want to book with a TA as well, but I agree with echo's statement above-I find that the TA quotes I'm getting are a few hundred dollars more. I'm finding this very surprising! I would have thought TA's could get cheaper rates? If I don't go with a TA, does anyone have suggestions on how to go about booking? I like westjet vacations as well, but I am wanting to go to a Riu and they don't book with the Riu chain.
