  1. We have the same wedding date! I'm getting married in Los Cabos, how about you? I am waiting until final RSVP's to finish items like meus, programs, OOT bags. What is everyone else doing?
  2. Frustrating....attachments aren't working well right now! Sorry! Restaurante&Private Event Areas Nov 2010.xls

  5. I absolutely LOVED Thailand! Although I have heard it has become more touristy since I was there (9 years ago). But if you like Thai food, you will absolutely LOVE the food there! I also really liked Costa Rica. I think it really depends on your budget and time frame! I wouldn't go to Thailand for less than 2 weeks. Long flights do suck but once you get there it is all worth it! I'm so excited for you, sounds like some good choices! Keep us updated!!
  6. All of the posts have fabulous ideas! Aaronlori-what is the 'moose call'? I'm from Canada as well (Alberta) and I haven't heard of it but it sounds interesting!
  7. Wow everyone is getting so organized! We have our groom's attire purchased, groomsmen attire picked out (and mostly purchased) and we sent out our invitations this week. Our deposits are due at the end of June so we wanted to get our invitations out with all the information. Next Saturday all of my bridesmaids are getting measured and we are purchasing their dress. So now my plan is to figure out mine and the bridesmaid's accessories and shoes, and start planning the menus, programs and place cards. I agree with clgriffi7-I'm going to be sad when all the planning fun is done! We too are just starting to book our honeymoon! We are going right after Christmas (December 27th) to Australia for a month. I can't wait!!!!!! Keep the updates going!
  8. For some reason my post didn't work! It is true the steakhouse only has white linens. My mom and Aunt are bringing table runners, tea lights and we are ordering flower centerpieces to jazz it up! I'm not sure if we are supposed to bring table runners though! lol! We haven't asked yet!
  9. Quote:Originally Posted by WedCabo33 I am seriously considering choosing RIU for my wedding however I have a few questions.... If I have the reception in the Steakhouse....is it private? How does it work with your linen choice and centerpieces? Where did you dance at? Did you have to go to a different location? Is it possible to have the reception out on a terrace? Or other options? For the flowers, do you get to pick the flower choice? My fiance is really set on RIU but I am still uncertain because of the tiny details I am unsure about. PLease help me if you can with the above info. Thanks
  10. Crys-I have the steakhouse booked as a semi private. Who told you that you could only book it as a private?
  11. I forgot to take my measurements at the beginning We don't follow the nutrition plan but eat clean so I am hoping it is just muscle weight! I was not working out consistently prior to starting this program. I have been working out for 3 weeks now (4 days of insanity a week). On the UPSIDE...I did my fit test during my lunch hour and I have GREATLY improved! So I am going to just stick to everything and I agree-hopefully in another few weeks or so, I will have a huge loss
  12. Hey ladies...I just had to vent because I'm frustrated! I am 10 pounds up from my goal weight and so I started the insanity program 3 weeks ago (I'm also doing bootcamp so only doing insanity 4 days a week). I'm eating healthy and about 1400 calories a day. And all I'm doing is GAINING weight! ARGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I am getting SO frustrated and discouraged!!!!
  13. From what I was told by the resort, it is just our birth certificates that need to be apostilled (I have been told both the original and translated copies have to be apostilled). Where do you live? I know of a guy that arranges everything in Calgary. Otherwise, you will need to find a certified translator, get your documents translated, and then contact the mexican embassy to find out the process. I believe that the documents first have to be authenticated, and then apostilled (so it has to be sent to two different places). Quite the complicated process!!!
  14. I was surprised by the dress but I thought she looked absolutely beautiful and classy! I just heard that she wore a second dress to the reception so I can't wait to see that!
  15. Thanks for the advice!! I did cardio recovery last night and I agree-I think doing the deep muscle work is essential to keep into my program!!!
  16. I notice a lot more energy and now that I'm starting my third week tomorrow-I can tell I'm already getting in better shape! yay! I have a question...I have bootcamp every Tuesday and Thursday and I have decided that it is too much to do both workouts! So I will be doing 4 insanity workouts a week (sticking to one rest day as I feel that my body needs it!), and just complete the 2 month program in a longer period of time. I plan on doing all the workouts in order. My question is...if I am only doing 4 of the workouts a week, should I skip over the cardio recovery workout or complete all the workouts in order and include cardio recovery?
  17. Great information!! I thought that the ceremony was only in english if it is a symbolic ceremony?
  18. LOVE this idea! I already had an idea for my seating cards (sand dollars), but I like the idea of using it as a guest book!! FABULOUS!
  19. Well I finished (and survived!) the first week. I love the workouts and I can't believe how much energy I have! Pure Cardio was the hardest for me! Looking forward to week two
  20. I checked out the free clarisonic-just a heads up, it is only 'free' with a purchase of $300!
  21. oh also-kellygrrrl-thanks for all the tips that you gave about modifying the exercises and not feeling bad about not doing it ALL. It has made me feel better that I had to take a few extra breaks My legs feel like JELLY!!
  22. Well, completed plyo tonight. All I have to say is HOLY CR*P!!! I can't believe how tough a DVD program can be!!! WOW! There is DEFINITE room for improvement! LOL!! Sharon-how did the max recovery workout go? june11bride-I am hoping that at SOME point I will think the cardio recovery isn't enough. I have a feeling that at my current fitness level, I will find it tough! LOL! I'll let you know Thursday! bmadzia1-congrats on losing 8 lbs!!!! orange_peel-good to know about the max workouts with more arms! I am worried about my neighbours below me too! I have concrete flooring so I am hoping they don't hear much! lol!!
  23. I did the fit test this morning. Wow-it is tough, my legs feel like jelly! However I really enjoyed it so I am excited about the program!! Plyometric cardio circuit tomorrow!
  24. Thanks Kelly and June11 bride for your advice! You had made me feel better about starting it, so I am starting tomorrow!! I am glad to have this support forum! In the past, I did crossfit and bootcamp workouts, but haven't been consistent for 6 months, so hopefully I am up for the challenge! I think I'm going to do insanity for the 60 days, and then go to a hybrid of P90X workouts for the strength and insanity for the cardio! I have 7 months until my wedding, so I want to initially lose the weight, and then add some more resistance training. I will let you guys know how tomorrow goes, I'm scared about the fit test! Subbi-let me know how it is for you too!
