Simba - I LOVE the beach towels and they make so much sense b/c a) they something that you would definitely use on the trip and 2) you'd know your towels from the ones that ALL the other guests would have around the pool area. Did the price vary depending on the amount you purchased or was it just a flat fee per towel?

I posted on this one girls thread this week about ceremony scripts strictly b/c I loved her monogram, so totally unrelated to her actual thread LOL Turns out her FI designed it and now he's going to ours for us. But yeah I know what you mean when it feels like you're forever away from getting there. Forced me to start commenting like a nut on everything and anything even if it was just to agree or say 'thanks for sharing'. You know I was like I need my 150 posts DAMNIT LMAO And Lily no they totally don't get it. My FI is like why are u spending all this time chatting with a bunch of women you've never met?? Maybe if I explain in golf terms, it would shed some light on the situation :-s lol Mind you he seems to have picked up a liking for the Jason Mraz song from all the sites and slideshows - hee hee

Decocancun.com/Zuniga Productions WORTH EVERY PENNY

Thanks for the review. I have been dealing with Ana for our wedding next year and fire dancers were one of our requests so its gr8 to hear that besides being a delight to work with, that the end result is lovely as well. Fireworks sounds terrific too but also pricey :-s Congrats and thanks again. -
We sent out our STD's too. Haven't got a clue on invitation styles yet though :-s

I need help to complete my dress
FutureMrsRobart replied to roo66's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
Hi & congrats! I LOVE Pronovias gowns. I chose one of his designs as well from the 2011 collection. Did you try ebay - You can usually find anything on there with a wide variety of price and style. Good luck - sounds like you already made a great choice with the dress :-) -
Great month - same as ours :-) I would see if you set it up ahead of time if they allow menu samplings of the wedding option menus. Food makes it or breaks it for me especially for guests who have flown all the way to Mexico for a wedding. Good luck and have a great trip - I would LOVE to be going some place hot right now :-s Super jealous lol

I am wearing mine for the ceremony although I am still debating between the gazebo and having it directly on the beach lol

I know we are doing things backwards, book our resort and then site visit, but such is life. This way at least we will be able to pick out our reception venue, menu, flowers, etc. and not have to worry about a thing the week of our wedding. Have a great trip! Safe travels! Tara Our resort was booked before our site visit too :-)

If you already sent them out, how are you planning to communicate with guests when the prices come out? We are inviting a huge number of guests and it would be a chore for us to send our STDs now without pricing and then communicate with everyone once the prices come down. Not everyone is tech savvy so I know they wont all check our website. i was lucky in that 90+percent of my guests were on facebook lol So very early on I created a wedding group and have kept them up to date on whatever the latest goings on have been :-)

I asked my TA what happens if the prices drop and we paid the deposit...most airlines do not adjust, you have a choice and go with lower rate but loose deposit. Sometimes it worth it, sometime it is not... So, I am sitting tight and waiting at least till July, August....January and February are slower travel months, so the chances of them being sold out are very low....I really trust my TA, she works at Maritime Travel which is located at the Bay where I work as a senior executive. She always offers me great advice with no pressure, they do not work on commission. My ideal price of $1500 was set on the average rate for this hotel (Grand Riviera Princess) in slower months of the year, like end of April ...That's the reason I chose my hotel. Ladies, have patience...that's my advice. I go down south every year and I never bought the tickets so early... My TA is with Maritime travel too ... I think I will take your advice and play the waiting game for a month or two.

Its looking like an easy 2K pp. Hoping that May's rates are little easier on the eyes for my poor guests :-s

Hopefully they will! I hadn't heard about waiting till Aug. Did your TA say rates typically go down in Aug? Wow I hope that they come down too. I decided to take a peek at DRC 2011 rates. They're an easy 2K pp! :-s I told my guests to bank on that amount thinking that they would be pleasantly surprised when it was less. Now its looking like that might be right on target :-s
