Honey I'm sorry.. Listen, one thing i've learned out of my relationship is that communication is key and that's what's going to keep your relationship is strong. It's not easy, but if there are trust issues or any other issues floating around, you need to be open and honest about it and talk to him, and he needs to talk to you. Even though we are in relationships, sometimes we disconnect from our partner, usually due to stress and misscommunication.... we all once in a while need to step back and reconnect with our partner. and the suggestions about the pros and cons list is a fantastic suggestion, it's a very concrete way of weighing out your options and concerns. You are not being a Debbie Downer at all, you are sharing your experience to give us insight on what can and in your case has gone wrong.

Marak, she works in my building. I've had to tell her to stop just "popping" in becuase anytime she had drama go down she would come down to my office and tell me about it for 20min at a time, I'm a business professional, not in HS ya know? You can't just do that in a corporate setting, or any job for that matter.....

Ladies, you're right to each their own.....I still am on the hunt for the perfect dress my first fitting didn't go as I thought it would, the lady was awful, I was trying on a pretty Maggie Sottero dress.... some of the other ones didn't fit and this one fit beautifuly and she made a comment that Maggie is a big girl herself so she caters to that type.... I expected walking out of my first fitting to feel beautiful instead I walked out with a complex..... not ideal for your first fitting, but I was happy that my FI was there, because he put a smile on my face =)

Good advice ladies! It isn't too harsh. I think you are right, I need to be upfront and just say it. I was trying to just ignore her really since I have a lot going on, but she doesn't get the hint, I get like 10 (No joke) emails from her at work and I don't respond but I do need to just step up and say it. BLUNTLY.... more blunt than I have been before.

Hi Ladies, My honey is not only my FI and my future Hubby, but he's also my BF so my first dress fitting my honey to be was there. I know they say NOT to have him see your dress etc... etc... but in all honesty he is the one person I truly believe will tell me what looks fabulous and what doesn't look so fabulous (in his eyes everything is fabulous but only 1 is perfect). In the end he won't see me in the "final" dress I choose however he has seen me in a wedding gown, is this only me doing something so unconventional? or am I just nuts? share your thoughts!

Ladies, I have a friend who has dubbed me her "BFF". Funny thing is she is everything but..... So my MOH is my FI's sis in law because she has really been there for me through thick and thin, my so called "BFF" or as she has proclaimed herself to be is nothing but a toxic human being who once was a fantastic person who has gone wrong. Anyway long story short, when I got enagaged instead of being "happy" for me she was POed at my FI for not "telling her first".... *insert jazz hands here* REALLY?!?!? I mean really?!?!? *smacks forehead* anyway, she has been ever since "buying" me these lil gifts to "due her duty as a BFF" she has said..... I've told her she REALLLLLLLLLLLLLY doesn't have to. 5 min later she came down to give me the "gift" (we SADLY work in the same building....emphisis on SADLY). AWWWWWKWARD. Really Awkward. like REALLLY awkward. I've been honest with her in the past of her toxic changes etc... and she brushed them off as if I told her she had dandruff on her shoulders... Long story short of it is, she hasn't gotten the point she isn't my "BFF" let alone my friend... What should I do, should I be in "for the love of Ray Jay" (for all my reality TV junkies) word one hun-deridid (aka 100) or should I just distance myself away from her... advice is much appreciatded... P.S you ladies are awesome for reading this, thank you much!

indy, I know it was heartbreaking for me, both my parents are alcoholics and although I'm the youngest in the family I've been the one to hold my family together, as sad as it is I am thankful because it makes me a stronger person and thats all I can ask for. My FI is an AMAZING person who came into my life and has been there for me and at the end of the day I'm so thankful to have him by my side =)

Ladies, A lil help, please!! I love the colors black and white, but I want to do a Mexico beach wedding and I feel that black and white really isn't Mexico-ish..... Marcia, I agree with the ladies, try zappos and try VS online, I just got their bathing suit catalog and they had some VERY cute wedges there, I'm sure there's a pair that had amazing sandals. Also try overstock.com they always have great options =) I'm sure you will find a great option!

I LOVE Ibiza Hippie by Escada, but it's discontinued and I only have a little left =( So I may need to find a new one, since it's a beach wedding I want it to be something very fresh, fruity, crisp and clean, any suggestions? Sephora will give you a sample of perfume to try. I suggest going and trying different scents for the day to see what smells best on our skin. I'm sure our FI will be happy with anything =)

Vday - your shoes are fantastic, I'm a loud whore, no joke and his shoes are so comfy!!! I am having the same delima, as it looks right now I'll be spending more on my shoes than my dress and I'm OK with that considering I can wear the shoes over and over again and the dress once. =)
