  1. This is a nice thread...Jeremiah is very helpful - always lending a hand when I need it around the house. I think there are really a few things that stick out...we have a "code" for I love you so in places its not always appropriate to say it we can use our "code" and I love when he comes over & just gives me a kiss on my forehead.
  2. THis is a great thread. I have struggled with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) for about 8 years now & actually glad that my ex-husband & I never were fortunate enough to have kids (he's not the nicest person) but now with my FI I would love to have kids. We are both 33 now and will be 34 after the wedding and our families have been on us for a year to try to have a baby before the wedding. We both agreed we didn't want to do that but I keep feeling old compared to my friends who had their kids in their 20's. Plus my ob/gyn doesn't think I will have a chance of getting pregnant without fertility treatments which can be rather pricey. We just figure we will see what we are given and if we can have our own we will adopt. Chrissy
  3. If you want a Maggie you need to get ordering soon. The last shop I called about a destination dress from the collection was scheduled to be shipped at the end of April.
  4. We told people upfront that we would completely understand if they could not make it to the wedding...it's expensive, travel, passport, blah, blah, blah...it's ok. The only excuse we have really heard is the economy...oh and my dad's initial reaction..."I'm not going!" which he is now booked to go, ha : ) Our invites are going out next week so we will see how the RSVPs go but we are planning on a small group of about 15-20 people with us & we are so excited for it. This is more about us, our celebration, and if I don't hear from people by our RSVP date we are considering them not available to join us.
  5. Keep a positive attitude! I have 5 months until our wedding & have been stressing over the same thing. My FI encourages me to keep doing what I need to do but he hates when all I do is get upset on my looks/not losing enough, etc. Do what you can but don't make yourself sick right before the big day.
  6. We decided to stay at the same resort that way we don't have to worry about packing, lugging everything from 1 place to another and we can still visit with friends & family that are staying.
  7. The new year is approaching & so are our wedding dates. Can't wait to hear about all of them & eventually share our stories : )
  8. Wishing everyone a happy & safe New Year!
  9. Congrats!! That sounds like a wonderful Christmas : )
  10. I just flew this past week and it's a little pricey to also take extra bags. Make sure you check with your airline so you don't get hit with a ton of fees at the airline counter.
  11. I, like all of you, am so tired of hearing about it. My FI loves ESPN & that seems to be all they talk about, drives me nuts. No one knows what their marriage was like but them but if you want to be unfaithful it's best just to leave the marriage rather than hurting someone like this.
  12. Have any of you went with Acrylics & they held up for about 4 days? We are leaving on a Tuesday & not getting married until Saturday. My nails are always brittle & breaking
  13. I had been to a sandals previously & we chose beaches because we have family going with kids & since it is owned by the same company we are expecting the same service.
  14. These are great! I wasn't going to do a TTD but I am definitely considering it now! Did you guys buy a different dress for your TTD session?
  15. How did you guys get through customs with the "food" type items? Just curious...also how did these things make the plane trip? I saw someone did cookies ,etc.
  16. We usually split Thanksgiving & Christmas. My FI's family does a big thanksgiving camping trip every year so we usually do that but this year our new nephew (born on the 17th) was due so his family asked if we could come down to FL. So we celebrated Christmas with my family today & are flying to FL on Wed. Next year thought we are splitting it up again to be fair. Chrissy
  17. I'm in PA and we have about 15 inches so far...lovin it!
  18. I would probably go to a salon near your home and explain your situation. They should be able to help you reduce the frizz.
