We just decided that we will be getting "legally" married on April 17th by my Fi's uncle who is a minister. My fi's side of the family is throwing us a "couples" shower where the men attend as well sort of as a send off since much of his family won't be attending the wedding (mainly grandparents). I am going to wear my ttd and have a little ceremony at his aunt's house. My grandpa will be there as well. I am trying to look at it as something more for my future grandparents and my grandpa to be a part of and witness. I want to think of it as a way to include the family that cannot attend and Mexico will be much more intimate and all about S and I....its hard not to feel like Mexico won't be a little cheated, but we are writing our own vows for Mexico and won't be saying them at the legal day so I'm hoping that keeps things very special for our REAL day in Mexico...I'll keep you all posted on my afterthoughts...
Good luck ladies!
