I had a tough time deciding which resort to choose, and I finally decided to go with Iberostar Lindo. I read a lot on here (just search Iberostar Lindo) and also on tripadvisor. Some reasons I chose the Lindo: Guests have several resorts to choose from with a variety of price ranges, and they are all located within one complex, the reviews were great on tripadvisor for families with kids of all ages (important for me b/c I really wanted my younger brothers to have a great time), reviews of the wedding coordinators are mostly positive, the resort looks beautiful, and after reading other brides reviews and seeing pictures, that helped alot. I just rec'd my order from OrientalTrading.com - Raffia Fans (they are $9.99 / dozen). I was worried about the quality since the reviews were mixed, but they are AWESOME! They will be perfect for my ceremony programs. I am also taking extras to use on the beach during our stay. I will post pics as soon as I make them!

Would you be willing to sell only 1 instead of all 3? I just have my maid of honor and am having a TERRIBLE time finding a dress in such a short notice (we decided to do a destination wedding last minute!) My wedding is in December and I haven't found my bridesmaid dress! I am only having 1, so technically my maid of honor, and I haven't been able to find a nice pink. I am looking for chiffon in a hot pink, without it being too Barbie pink. My colors are pink and orange. I LOVED a dress at JCrew, but they sold out in the color I loved. Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Noel~ I sent an email to the WC and asked her for a different email address for someone who will actually respond. She apologized and answered a question. I haven't contacted her since then. I was working with Lily and she was great. This lady is not! I am just worried that my "Wedding Details" aren't confirmed. Are you worried about your resort being closed on your wedding day? I read on Iberostar-board.com and tripadvisor that Del Mar and Beach are closed for the month of September. I'm wondering when they will open back up?

Wow, I am so nervous right now. My WC WILL NOT respond to my emails. She hasn't responded to a question in 2 weeks. I emailed her and asked if she was getting my emails because she hadn't responded to any of my questions, she answers "Don't be nervous, everything is fine". It is not fine!!!! She doesn't actually answer questions when she actually does respond, all she does is copies & pastes the information from the price list that I have! Has anyone else had issues? I posted about this before, but it is getting worse as the time gets closer- I have less than 3 months until the wedding!

BBtB: Did you have any children at the reception in the Los Virtales rm? I was wondering if they still charge you $6 per person/per hour for the minors who can't drink?

Does anyone know if you can buy phone cards here to use at the resort, or buy them there? If you buy them there, any price info? I've been to Cancun & Cozumel several times and it all seems to depend on what type of phone is at your resort. I've used phone cards from there that were $1 per minute & also have had to walk down to the phones on the street because they weren't compatible at the resort! I haven't tried buying here and then taking them down. Last year I just took my cell phone, but guests keep asking me what they should do! Thanks again everyone!!
