I think $1218 is a pretty good rate for the time of year you're going (you're going in the summer, right?) For me, I didn't feel like anything was real until we booked, so I have peace of mind now. Didn't want to take any chances that our dates would get booked up! And now I think a lot of our guests are wishing they booked earlier too... :/ But who knows, maybe they will get great last minute deals - although if you check out the last minute rates to go now, they're really not that much cheaper and the Fall is hurricane season!

We didn't include our parent's names either (FI's dad is deceased and his mom will not be attending). Our invites were very informal, so we just used 'we' and 'us'.

Ok purely for style and looks, I'd say Gweneth Paltrow, Carmen Electra or Jessica Simpson (yes, I'll admit it, don't judge me! hahaha) For personality, a person that I'd actually want to be friends with...hmmm...I guess I'd say Jennifer Aniston...

I just had my trip re-quoted for a few more people who would like to book now. The first group originally paid $1360pp (Apr 23rd departure) and the new rate has gone up to $1495... I hope the merger means some of the rates will go down, because I think the price jump is turning off a lot of our guests

I just went on a hunt for the coil wrist key chains at Party Packagers and a few dollar stores with no luck. I've put in my order for that side I posted earlier and the total for 48 coils came to $54 incld taxes and shipping. I went with the mixed colours package. I'll let you know how they look once they arrive

Apparently a bride on another thread ordered the same ones and she was able to fit a vista print business card, security card and 6 $1 bills in there and it fit fine! I'll still test it out tomorrow and let you know after the weekend

Ughhh, I've totally been there! Earlier this year, my entire team (including my boss) was let go - except ME! So I was basically the ONLY person left in our team... it was horrible. We're a very close team and it felt terrible for this to be happening to everyone. To top it off, I'm in HR, so we had to execute layoffs within the business as well. It was the most exhausting month of my life! The 1st one I had to do was a young guy that had pictures of his wife and newborn baby at his desk, it was so disheartening. I literally cried when I got in the car after this dreadful day was finally over...

No, I haven't ordered them yet.. but my key/tip holders arrived from that eBay seller: (50 Business ID Card Badge Holder w/ Zipper Vertical ZV - eBay (item 260472359405 end time Sep-22-09 13:36:43 PDT)) and I'm a little worried they're a bit small. They just fit a standard business card and I'm not sure if the hotel key/money will also fit in there... I'm going to London this weekend for homecoming, so I will test out if the hotel key fits!!! Fingers crossed!

I hear ya! I would suggest to order it in your current size and take your chances with alterations. That would be a LOT of stress to lose weight if you ordered it too small. And if you're anything like me, when you're under pressure to lose weight, you don't!
