Did you try putting 'URGENT, RESPONSE REQUIRED' in the subject line? When I did that, I got responses pretty quickly from her. Tiara has an assistant?? You'd think you'd get faster responses... I received a response from the spa today about the hair salon. Here is the spa manager's response: We do not have pictures available at this moment but you can bring yours and we will arrange a trial before the wedding to make sure your hair will be perfect on your wedding day.

I went to one of these presentations while at our 'free' timeshare in Ft. Lauderdale. It was no big deal, we were 3 young girls that they were trying to sell a condo to. It was pretty high pressure but we just laughed and said ya right - we had just graduated university at the time, so there was NO way in hell we could've afforded it! But hey, we got a free lunch, a tour of the city and got to see Shaq's house!! hehe

I got an email today from Tiara - I had asked if she could put me in touch with someone from the hair salon so that I could see examples of their work and she sent me the email for the spa at DLR. I had also asked her about hanging the paper laterns and she said yes it's possible but she's sure I'll love the SSG just as it is! Hmmm...I'm still thinking laterns though... I'll love it extra then!

Here is my E-ring. I'm having 2 bands made for either side using diamonds and gold from my grandmother's ring. My jeweller is a friend, so I only had to leave my e-ring overnight for him to make the molds - thankfully because I felt naked without it!!

Ok ladies, I'm back on board here too! I don't know what finally clicked in today but I just don't want to be the fat girl on the beach at my wedding!! I need to be super clean with my diet - less sugar and more frequent meals and get back to the gym every morning and running with the dog every night!! Just under 5 months to go... good luck to us all!!!

LOVE that dress and think it will go perfectly with your colours! I'm sure my girls wish they had found this dress before choosing their's too I think bright flowers will be a perfect accent.

Like a few other ladies on here, I too am in the reverse position... I've gained about 10lbs since I quit smoking and although FI is really happy I quit, I can tell he's not as attracted to the 'new' me. For some weird reason when I really want to lose weight, I don't. I think I stress out too much about it and the opposite effect happens. But recently I just can't believe how I look in pictures and it's getting down to crunch time, so I need to kick it up a notch - basically back to working out 2x a day and eating super clean, which is SO hard to do, especially this time of year. I would be honest with your FI and motivate him by going to the gym with him. Added bonus is you'll look extra hot on the beach!

Omg, you've got me all teary! I'm so sorry to hear that, but your mom and grandma are right, he'd feel even worse if you cancelled the whole thing! Are you having an AHR? If so, you could make up for lost time with him that way.. Again, so sorry for your situation.

Does anyone know if we can hang those paper lanterns at the Seaside Grill? I love the idea of colourful lanterns hanging from the ceiling, but I can't get Tiara to respond! I think I'm going to do the Mamajuana favours as well. I'm thinking of buying little bottles here, making little stickers with our monogram on it (probably VistaPrint), attaching a little tag with the origin of Mamajuana (and maybe the saying, which is a little risque - 'If Mama wanna, Papa can', since it's known as liquid viagra) and then buying the big bottle when we get there and pouring it in to the little bottles *note to self, bring small funnel!

I made mine on VistaPrint (using one of their many 'free' email deals) and for a double sided invite with beautiful matching envelopes, I paid just over $2 per invite (including shipping from within Canada). Front: Back: Oops, sorry, don't know why that one is so big!!

Oh wow, that is FAR away! I say stick to your date and your mom will come around...she has PLENTY of time to warm up to it! My sister/MOH was kind of like that too... she asked why we were getting married so quickly (even though it will be over 1 yr since we got engaged) but I guess some people just think differently... She also said that the timing is not good for her since she's in school. Well, I have new for her, it's not her wedding! I have repeatedly given her the opportunity to back out of MOH, but she insists on doing it. Good luck to you!
