    Negrilbridetoo, It would be great if we all could share information. I am going to Negril next tuesday to meet with Oneika and tour the two resorts. I have not started looking at vendors other than the photographer. I think that is going to be the goal for this week, to choose a photographer and put a deposit down. I am also getting my STD's made by Sarah Sprouille ( who is on the board). Happy Planning everyone!

    Christy My mother was the one who swayed me to have the wedding and reception at the cliffs. We are going to be on the beach for 4 days so she thought it would be classier to the wedding and reception at the cliffs overlooking the water, instead of the beach which everyone would be lounging on for 5 days. Also we are doing a footwashing ceremony and I want to wear nice shoes, so he can take them off to wash my feet. I am so excited. We are going down there in a few weeks to meet Oneika and do a site visit. Where are you at in your planning?

    It's official, I am a moon dance cliffs bride. I just put down my deposit today. I will be staying with my guests at moon dance villas for 4 days and then having my wedding, reception and honeymoon at Moon Dance Cliffs. My FI is a little upset that everyone will get to see our honeymoon site, but I think it would be nice for all to experience the hospitality of both moon dance properties. I am so excited. August 21, 2010!!! Now on to photographers, I am looking at either Sungold or Michael Saab.

    I bought 2 dresses and got a really good deal. Together they were both $1100. One is anjolique for the ceremony and one is a maggie sottero for the reception/ttd

    Thanks for all the wonderful comments!!! They both truly are very beautiful dresses. I kept going back in forth with the anjolique dress, wondering if it was too much for the beach and Jamaica. But then I thought, " Hey I am only doing this one time, and its my day, so what the heck!"

    well it looks like I am going to be a 2 dress bride. Today was my first day of dress shopping and I put deposits down on two dresses. One will be the ceremony dress and one will be the reception/ttd dress. I got both of them for $1100.00 which is unbelievable. My wedding is not until next august but i had to start my planning early. Here are some pics. The first is an Anjolique bridal gown and the other is the jayla by maggie sottero! Looks like I will end up being a maggie bride! Anjolique Jayla - by Maggie Sottero are there any other 2 dress brides out there?

    I am an August 2010 Bride. So far I have paid my deposit for my save the dates which are being made by sarah sprouille, I have my website up and running, and am about to put down a deposit on my site... Jamaica August 21, 2010..its going to come fast!

    I am sending my STD's out in late August early September for my August 2010 wedding, I think it would be best to send out the invitations around Feb with rsvp due by Early June.

    I am in that same position. However my friend also owes me money for a trip we took to Panama and she also comes with a lot of baggage, I don't need the added stress. I asked her but now I really don't want her to be in it! I know... very passive aggressive!
