Malisa you are funny girl! Glad you can keep a positive attitude tho- but pvbeachbride10 you gotta do what's gonna make you and your man happy. You're not getting married for your family after all. You just plan your dream wedding, be happy to spend time with those who support you, and let the others do their thing. When you're in Mexico call on your MOH or BM to be the "go to girl" and when family has a complaint or wants to be critical pass the buck- just tell them you're there to celebrate one of the happiest times of your life and don't want to hear it right now. She can give you the details once you're back home- or not! Chin up cuz y'all certainly are not alone on this one!

thanks everyone! we've picked the resort, got the invites made (just waiting for date confirmation) and ideas for the OOT bags already! I've gathered most of my ideas from this forum and just wanted to say THANK YOU to all the ladies who have posted their way through the planning process. Destination Wedding planning is definately an adventure!

Absolutely not! times are tough and we have to travel according to budget- just remember you have some social obligation to the wedding couple but I am sure you can manage A LOT of alone time with your hubby. Splurge on the upgrade and get the better room- let the resort know you are on your honeymoon as well. Congratulations on your marriage!

ouch! can you rearrange some of your other bags and give couples one bag only? or maybe some of your closest family will be willing to wait until they get back home for theirs? I know, not the same
