THhnks for the great review, we're very close to booking majestic for our wedding and this really helps. I have two questions, how are the rooms? Are they clean and is the bed comfortable? (There's been some bad reviews on TA lately) And is photosouvenir expensive? We're on a tight budget too and don't want to spend more than $1000. If you could share the price of your package that would be helpful, if you'd rather not it's ok.

Loved, loved the last episode - things are really starting to heat up! I'm really glad they didn't kill Jason off but I wish he would have shot Steve's wife with the paintball gun... And I love the fact that Eric is smiling more - he's sooooo hot!

Yeah, I don't think they can kill Jason off that quick, especially with all the trouble he gets into later in the books. I gotta say I'm getting a little tired of Maryanne... I want the vampires to come back and get rid of her already!

Did anyone else not see that coming with Daphne turning Sam over to Maryanne? I was starting to like Daphne's character... oh well. I figure they won't kill Sam off because he's such an important role in the books but how the heck is he going to get out of that situation??

Hey DEH83, I'm also an ottawa bride and have been debating the group booking and TA thing. How did you like your TA? And who did you book with for your flights? Can you PM the name of your TA? Sorry for the 20 questions. It's so confusing trying to get the flights organized!

I agree with Sapphire, I think the best way to deal with the constant contact is to stop answering the phone! If you keep answering they will keep calling. Your starting a new life together and while that does include your MIL, it doesn't include her 24/7 or her negative attitude.

I agree, people don't realize the sheer amount of work involved in doing the most basic ballet moves. I think because Melissa's movement is so fluid people don't see the effort behind it. Can't wait for Ellen as a guest judge next week! They should have all the guys dance in Ellen boxers!

Ok I really liked last night's episode! It's still kinda slow but I think you can start to see Eric's infatuation with Sookie begin to show. And what about Barry the bellboy? I thought he'd be cuter based on the description in the book.... can't wait to see what they do with that.

I don't think you've made a spoiler. Can't wait to see who they cast for Alcide!! Although I'm wondering what the new bartender Daphne's role is. I think she's another shifter and hunting Maryanne. I think. I like the new twists the show is taking, keeps those of us who've read the book entertained without knowing exactly what is going to happen. Oh and was it just me or was Jeffrey (Maryanne's male maid) cooking a heart? Perhaps the voodoo lady's heart

Hi Amygirl, My TA quoted me a price of around $1550 from Ottawa to DPB for one week. She was basing her price on other quotes for this november but said it would likely be a bit less for May of next year... Hope that helps!

Yay, I just found this thread! I've read all the books and am totally addicted to the show!! Definitely on team Erik, Bill just doesn't live up to the description in the books, although I do agree he looks better this year... I highly recommend reading the books because it gives you insight into where the show it going. I really like the fact that they didn't follow the book completely because it would make for boring television. Oh and I'm pretty sure Maryanne is the maenad from the books. For those who haven't read the books (don't worry this isn't a spoiler) a maenad (may-nad) is basically a creature who feeds off of bad emotions or situations. I think she wants Tara and the other dude to hook up so she can't essentially tear them apart. Just my two cents worth... Can't wait for Sunday!!

Hey Taratoons! Welcome back. Do you have any pictures of the gazebo and beach wedding area that you can share with us? Also, what is it about the reception locations that you liked/didn't like for the two resorts? I think the ceremony location would be my first priority with the reception location coming in close second.

We're thinking either April/May of next year or maybe even November... We're pretty open to what options there area and we'll probably let price determine when. Princess402: I would try contacting the wedding coordinator or the resort directly to find out what day they have their beach party. The wedding coordinator is really good at getting back you fairly quickly.
