This is horrible. I honestly didn't think it was that serious and thought maybe the news was hyping it up- but FI's two close friends got to Playa Carmen (like 40 min from Cancun) two days ago, freaked out, and are flying back today with doctor's appts made already. Good luck to all of you who's weddings are coming up. I can't even begin to picture how stressful this must be.

If your mom is happy, be happy for her. She's obviously been through a lot in life. If this new guy makes her happy and she wants to bring him as her date, then she should be allowed to. Tell her you want to have dinner, the four of you, so you and your FI could get to meet him first.

I think it is very important. My engagement is on video and I've probably watched it about a gazillion times. All of our friends and family that weren't there also have enjoyed it and we've gotten great feedback on it. Because our wedding is away, many people probably wont get to see us walk down the aisle. Also, I can't wait to see the procession and what I look like walking down the aisle, etc, etc.

I got a call saying I won some bridal package- a free trip for me and my FI,then was told to pick it up at a Best Western where there would be some presentation about pots and pans. I later googled it to find very bad reviews! It's some Royal Prestige thing. I also get bombarded with postcards and mail and I didn't even buy anything from there, I just signed up to "win something."

oh wow i get it- i'm slow- i kept doing 12 x 12 x 50 and getting outrageous numbers lol and thinking it would be impossible. 12 x 50 makes so much more sense.

I love wine! I like Pinot Grigio, White Zinfindel, and Merlot,but have recently become obsessed with a red wine called Genesse (I think that's how it's spelled.) It's sweet and delicious and I always make sure FI has a bottle for me at his place. Oh and I adore Sangria!

I love dirty martinis--but i love them absolutely filthy- i ask for more olive juice than vodka lol.

I'm probably doing a short russian-style birdcage veil with a flower on it. There are lots of cute ones on Etsy. That way you get the best of both worlds.

On my price list it said the lighted dance floor was $40 per square FOOT plus all those stupid taxes. But I'm pretty sure its $40 per square meter. Per square foot is stupid.
